Meh....by this reasoning, there's no such thing as magnetism because you can't feel or see it.
We know it only by observing effects on other things.

Relativity works this way too.
You might say it doesn't exist because you can't feel, see, taste, smell or watch it.
But your GPS wouldn't work without it.
so...if there is 'something' to point a finger at.....that's good enough to say.....It's THERE!

no one can show you dark.....anything.....
science lays the claim to explain what we DO see .....

much like science says there was a singularity..........ok......
but we aren't going to observe that first one....ARE we?

and I continue to place Spirit first.....
all of this 'stuff' we call real points a finger....as God

Science ONLY gave dark energy and dark matter names because it HAD TO. There were measurable effects that were modeled perfectly by mathematics.

Science only names that which can be reliably measured and therefore proven to have physical effects. Thus, science cannot comment on god's existence since his effects are undetectable/invisible.

If one limits science to only those things amenable to finger pointing,
then it would be a boring field indeed. We're fortunate to have so many
different ways to observe things, by which we can better understand them.

Consider.....
How can you deny the existence of phenomena like quantum tunneling just because you can't directly observe it?
Tis ironic that your computer uses the effect when you post.

attempting to limit faith and believing to the tangible is futile

I prefer to say....the equations and observations of science point to that which cannot be measured
the equation is only a good indication the scope of the item......unseen.

Actually, I'm only advocating (in this thread) broader approaches to examining what is tangible.
As for faith in what one feels about the supernatural, I don't plan to debunk that.
It just doesn't work for me.
