Bernie raised his staffers wages then has to cut their hours short to make up the difference. :sob:

Bernie Sanders Plans To Cut Staffers’ Hours To Pay $15 Minimum Wage, Complains About Them Talking To Media

One would think that a socialist would have given fair pay without having to go through this. What a complete embarrassment and a sick indictment of the "do as I say and not as I do" types, totally disgusting.
1. He is not a socialist. He uses the term Democratic Socialist, and his views and policies are distinctly Capitalist in nature. You clearly have been tricked by the press to ignore reality.
2. He gave his staff good salaries, but many were working so many hours that their effective hourly pay rate was low.
This concerned him and his managerial team, therefore like a good boss he told them to go home in the evenings and on the weekends, while they all worked on an agreeable contract (like any good small private business).
3. As is predictable human nature, the staff members went to the press in order to give themselves more leverage at the bargaining table (as we see in many capitalistic labour negotiations). Disappointing, but predictable. [this is the point where the short-sighted media jumped all over the story]

4. A fair settlement was reached with the workers getting better salaries (regardless of hours worked), along with healthcare coverage.

Therefore this was a win for Mr. Sanders’ Capitalistic Democratic Socialist ideas.

Denying that fact suggests that you neither read the papers or understand the issues. Please come back with evidence for your arguments in the future. Bye. :)

Well, at least he didn't use strikebreakers or impose a lockout. He came to an agreement with the workers, which seems perfectly in line with the principles of socialism. Socialism is more about cooperation, without necessarily having some artificially-induced adversarial relationship.

"The workers are unhappy"

Capitalist: Screw the workers! Call in the strikebreakers! Lock down the factory! This is war! I won't pay those ******** another red cent!

Socialist: Well, let's see what we can do to make the workers happy. We will listen to them, cooperate with them, and reach an amicable and mutually-beneficial agreement.

Bernie Sanders called himself a socialist with no media spin whatsoever, I will take his word for it. If Trump claimed he was a White Nationalist I am sure you would without question accept that as proof he was a White Nationalist.

Bernies despicable acts that no doubt would have caused a crisis of conscience (in those that have one) have come to light and the roaches are running from the light to find a safe space away from the glare, making excuses, and deflecting. Certainly these unconscionable acts will not stop the average "never Trump" sicko/psychocrat cultists from still believing in the great lie.

This isn't the late 1800's or the early part of the 1900's, those that would choose to handle things in that way in this day and age would be shooting themselves in the foot and probably face criminal charges.
