Not surprised. The women’s team made certain choices when negotiating their collective bargaining agreements. They placed value in some areas and cutback in others. They also made more than the men in a four year period, not because they worked more but because of how they structured things in the CBA. If they appeal it will be interesting to see what the Ninth Circuit does.
