The case will go on. If Trump wins (the electoral college, not the poplar vote) he can't stop this trial even if president. He can use his office to shield himself but that's about all. Willis will have to assign a new prosecutor and get them up to speed. She might decide to present the refined charges that were dismissed and have a grand jury decide if new charges will be filed.
