This is a possibility, but God's plan is not apparent in the nature of our existence. I believe God Created our existence simply as reflected in the nature of our physical existence, and the natural laws that is demonstrated by scientific methods.

Maybe ignorance works both ways.
Science is a matter of objective verifiable evidence. Ignorance of science can be either a lack of knowledge, or deliberate.
Religions are a matter of 'belief.'
