So did everybody but Noah.

lol

Hey I ran across this article a few years back. It is a purported scientific rationale for Noah's flood. There were some points that appear to make some sense of observable evidences but I have yet to follow up on them. See if it has merit.

Evidence of flood hydroplate theory cited to support biblical account

Does science prove Noah’s flood?

You should follow it up as your source is made by a man with zero expertise in the subject and publishes books without peer-review.

According to the Bible, god killed everyone and everything except Noah, his family, and the animals on the ark (and, presumably aquatic life by default given the modus operandi), but according to that source, god failed to do that.

The evidence is there, the willingness to see it, is not.
When is someone going to present it? All we've heard from you is that old stories must be accurate because they're in an old book and when you can't explain anything else you declare magic.

Those are not evidences.

Marine fossils on mountain tops.

That's not evidence of a global flood. Especially if you know how mountains are formed. And let's not forget that you had to invoke magic to get through that "explanation" as well.
Fossils are generally formed in catastrophes, otherwise scavengers would have devoured them and the rest rotted away. So slow mountain creation works against the likelihood of fossils.

Oh dear; you need a crash course in geology.
In very simple terms. The fossil is formed in an old sea bed, then over millions of years by the movement of tectonic plates they appear in the mountain.

No, a dead creature on the sea floor would be eaten, no fossil. But if there was a catastrophe and a creature was encased in mud that quickly dried out, before rot occured, then you would have a fossil.

You mentioned catastrophes; so let's stick with that.
The catastrophe happens on the sea bed and buries the recently dead creature; it fossilises and then geology takes over, the plates move and hey presto your fossil is no longer on the sea bed but on the top of a mountain.

God only knows, was it fast or was it slow. But geology doesn't move like presto, only God moves like presto.
