It was 28 degrees in California? Where the heck do you live, in the mountains, if you don't mind my asking.
I used to live in northern California but I never remember it getting that cold.

I have resident squirrels on my property and my squirrels eat bird seed, and a lot of it.

I sat on the terrace watching boats out in the bay.
I saw that our resident gecko came out to warm in the sun.

Boats in the bay, that sounds like a lot more fun that I am having.

I used to watch boats in the lake below but I can no longer see the lake because of all the trees that grew up in our view, and since they have become bird and wildlife habitat I cannot even consider cutting them down, so now I watch birds and wildlife on my deck.

I'm so jealous, I love water views.

Ironically, we own three houses and all of them are waterfront or water-view, but I have no view of the water!
One house on the river is a rental with great tenants, the other house is ocean view rental with a tenant who thinks he can live for free, and the other house is our residence with the trees that grew over our lake view.

Breakfast is just cappuccino , coffee and cookies (or sweet stuff) here:p

I still sorely miss driving rideshare like I was in my pre-covid life. Awesome money (nearly double what I made as a case manager), tons of fun, amd being appreciated more than I've ever known before.

Ill take that over these loonies swearing by intermittent fasting, and those people tend to skip breakfast. But breakfast has most of the best foods we have.

I think I like South Indian style breakfasts best, but I am totally not motivated enough to go through all that work in the morning.

From what is projected, by April 1st from the University of Washington, the amount of Covid 19 cases will go down pretty drastically by then. The peak is coming, at different times in different states. In Washington the peak is in early February, but of course this is an educated guess.

How is it his fault that things are shut down? It's a judgement call for each governor to weigh overwhelming the hospitals with sick people and the economy. In general, though I don't like to generalize, Republicans favor economy, and Democrats favor health in this situation. You governor is a Democrat. He has his own bias perhaps, but he is just making an attempt to cope with the situation. I have seen him talk, and he seems sincere to me.

I thought you meant a bill in the US congress, but apparently you mean a bill in you state legislature. You are in a "blue" state, unfortunately for you. I can imagine Democrats favoring renters, but not the US congress.

Okay, that explains those temps... BTW, I know about the weather in the Chigago area because I was raised in West Lafayette, Indiana.

Thanks for that information Duane, I have not been keeping track of the Codid-19 cases and projections, as I live one day at a time.
Yes, he had to make a judgment call. I was not implying that Governor Inslee is insincere, but this is having a big impact on businesses and landlords so there should at least be some kind of restitution.
Yes, that is what I meant, a bill in the WA state legislature. Renters are favored here, and it is not fair to landlords.
