Yep.....absolutely.
The best investment my wife has made this autumn was four fleece blankets.. We wrap up in then to watch TV each evening and haven't needed heating so far this winter.
She also bought me an electric hand warmer to keep my white finger (renaulds) away.

Best investment against inflation, heating costs, etc? A wife.
