Eucharistic blessing in the original Book of Common Prayer?

Alright I've got one for you my Anglican friends. I think I've heard something about the blessing of the sacrament being radically different in the first Book of Common Prayer?

Is this true? What I've heard is the church did this to uphold real presence vs Rome's teaching on transubstantiation.

I think the answer you are seeking in found under the 1552 section of this wiki page.

It's fair to say there was some reactionary measures back and forth between the Catholic and Reformed sides of the faith.
