Are you asking about equal-opportunity employment? Although there is still a bit of a struggle, it is within policy of most companies in the U.S. to offer jobs regardless of one's looks, preferences or lifestyle (given that there is no physical threat).
One of my coworkers has obvious Latino heritage and he does his job just as well as any other pizza delivery driver. He gets the pizzas to the houses without doing anything outrageous and he does it safely. And he's a pretty average guy in the best sense.

    No, there are considerable disproportions.

    No.

Courtesy of Number employed in the U.S. in 2016, by ethnicity | Statistic

Number employed in the United States in 2016, by ethnicity.

    U.S. total 151,436,000

White/Caucasian 119,313,000 = roughly 51% of white people employed by population.

    Black/African-American 17,982,000 = 44% by population

    Asian 9,213,000 = 56% employed

    Compared to U.S. population.

Race Population (2015 est.) Share of total population
    Total 316,515,021 100%

    One race 307,067,138 97.0%

    White 232,943,055 73.6%

Black or African American 39,908,095 12.6%

American Indian and Alaska Native 2,569,170 0.8%

    Asian 16,235,305 5.1%

Native Hawaiian and Other Pacific Islander 546,255 0.2%

    Some other race 14,865,258 4.7%

All that said, it looks like about 50% unemployment by race is about standard, which makes sense as most households have 1 partner working and the other stays at home to take care of family.

I mean sure maybe the thing about only one partner working would have applied about ten, fifteen, twenty years ago but I've met only one family who does that now and they're a hot mess.
