What could make this world disappear and a new one reappear? Could it be the death of a living messiah? “A chosen one”? A god manifest? Or are spiritually miraculous things only reserved as fantasy’s and metaphors in old dusty books?

If it were a new world, would it reappear or simply appear?

Quite a lot actually. I see a lot of back-and-forth on here with semantics. It’s sad actually. Mental health is important

Unless you’re genuinely trying to make it clearer for one who may not know my beliefs but I suspect that’s not your business here unfortunately

and besides what I wrote can be simply understood

    You too.

Regarding your question, I can think of things that might make the world disappear (be destroyed?), but nothing that would result in an instant replacement.

I assume you're referring to something other than the natural life of planets and sun. As Meher Baba noted:

The sun that gives you light at present will burst after many crores (tens of millions) of years. But another sun will take its place. The earth is getting cooler, and will eventually turn into a moon. But another planet, just like the present earth, will take its place. What has been in the past will be in the future. The processes of evolution and involution will go on forever. Ignorance and creation go hand in hand.

    Meher ??? Really ???

Oh yah...We are all illusions of the infusion from `God` throughout the planet, and on and on....

His phantasy is the true illusion...what a nut case !

Replaceable Suns, why not three of them !

    Good grief !

    I'm in a mood !

I suppose if this world were an ancestral simulation programmed by posthumans using futuristic technologically advanced computers realistically simulating the actions of the brain's neurons and also simulating the brain's sensory input with enough accuracy to convince the simulated characters they were real persons could make this world disappear and a new one reappear with the touch of a computer reset button.

Actually, it will be five billion years from now when the Andromeda galaxy smashes into Milkyway galaxy. This world will disappear and new ones will arise.
Yeah sure, astronomers have found a multi-star system (three suns) in the GW Orionis. Here:

For my granddaughter, it's covering her face with a receiving blanket, pulling it off, and saying, "Peek-a-boo!"

What’s your motive? To genuinely share a cute story or to ‘enlighten’ me as to what’s important? Haha

Actually humans will not survive on earth for that long. By a billion years, sun turning into a 'red giant' will make earth so hot that all water will evaporate. And who can guarantee the survival of humans for a billion years. The Homo species have had a very short life span till now.
Actually Salix has made a very profound statement. What we perceive is only an illusion - 'maya'. Realize the reality and the universe disappears (at least in Salix's and my view point (Advaita Hinduism).
