If you fell asleep with that in your room, you'd be an enwebbed desiccated husk by morning.

Other than with an elephant gun, how do people get rid of them btw? Surely people can't just stoically accept their presence.

Huntsman?

Just a cup (or bowl for a bigger one) and a piece of card, or magazine.
Capture and release outside. They're harmless (to humans).

Does a snake count for the purposes of this thread? Had an eight foot long constrictor living under my house in PNG (house on short stilts).

We captured him, measured him, then put him back. I was the only house in my area that didn't have a vermin problem.
