The Indian Election Commission has announced elections in two states, Jammu & Kashmir and the Northern State of Haryna. Jammu & Kashmir will have a three-phase election - September 18, 25 and June 1 (because of the security situation there). Haryana will have a one-0day election on June 1. The result will come on June 4.
Jammu & Kashmir election will be fair and democratic and foreign observers will be allowed in major cities. They might not be able to do so in villages for security reasons. J&K would then be governed by the elected representatives of the people.
