    They'll often mistakenly report cars as stolen.
    It's happened to many many people.
    This is the story of some, one of whom was in
    jail for half a year before he convinced cops
    that he rented the car.

    Being jailed for something you didn't do is a pretty BIG first world problem. This isn't quite like not being able to get your Oreos due to supply chain problems...
