Donald Trump Didn’t Say the Apostle's Creed At Bush’s Funeral

You mean like scraping together that Trump isn't Christian?

I never said he wasn't Christian, but he's obviously not a very devout or devoted one given his issues with narcissism, dishonesty, adultery, solicitation of prostitution, sexual assault, etc.
No need to scrape anything together when he openly displays it in spades.

We can assume hypotheticals all day. But as it is, it's the left declaring Trump a non-Christian today... Based on guesses and assumptions.

Don't pretend that many on the right tried to claim that Obama was a muslim.

An example of the typical hypocrisy, remember when conservatives were complaining about how often Obama played Golf? Trump has long surpassed him in that regard, yet interestingly all of the whiny screeching about it grew silent.

Well, you know that was just our inner bully coming out. What's your stoyle?

Why would being sinful make him less devout?
Those are traits often found even in religious leaders.
(It's OK because man is inherently sinful.)

A devout believer explained his view once to me...
He could do as he pleased, because belief saved him,
not good works. And as long as he prayed each nite
(after a day of sinning), he was assured of Heaven.

Caution:
I'm not advocating this brand of Christianity.
Just acknowledging that it's there.

What a weird belief that is.

What a weird belief that is.
It struck me as really strange too.
But in the 45 or so years since, I've learned more about religion.
Now, it appears all too common...with some variation on the details.
As we see in behavior of clergy, they can be quite devout &
knowledgeable of scripture, yet perpetrate heinous evil.

It's still hypocritical and devoid of conviction and thus garbage regardless of how they attempt to excuse or rationalize it.
