Does the change in season affect you?

As a writer, like clockwork, when autumn is upon us, I enter this mania where I produce more work over about a six week period than I do all year. This started for me, two days ago, on the 23rd. I felt it all day on the 22nd, this need to write, then the next morning it just exploded.

It started with poetry. Over the past two days, I've written 14 poems, including three reversed etherees, and trilogy of Noveotto that can be read separate or together, each telling a part of a story.

I then finished a short story, I'd started earlier.

This evening, I helped a friend with a law class, writing six opinions on cases with precedent support.

I'm literally on fire, as I am every year at this time.

Does anyone else experience this?

I seem to work more in the fall, but nothing like you experience.

Kathryn

It was on fire when I laid down on it.
I'm looking forward to this:

Our family's old homestead in winter - the house was built in 1886 and expanded in 1911 and then again in 1940. The windmill used to provide electricity to the place.

There is allergy season which definitely has a noticeable impact. Especially in the amount of tissues I use and allergy pills I take, which at times also leads to an increase in the amount of hours napped.
But when Autumn sets in and it starts to get cold my knees start to ache and hurt and I start counting the days until it warms up again and the pain resides.
