I am in a great deal of distress but I will persevere... that was just the right verse. :)

You'll be fine! Jehovah and His Son, Jesus, they both are aware of how difficult it is for some in world....myself included.
I've got all kinds of issues, myself, that I'm dealing with.

    Chin up, buddy!

I wonder what god would find more appalling? The truly dumb things that are said here, or the amount of people--the dumb and not dumb alike--that spend so much time here endlessly and futilely say words that end up being like air through air tunnel.

Gods do not, but there are others who have been assigned for the job. In Hinduism, the department of Death headed by Yama and his able accountant, Chitragupta. Chitragupta's office keeps the record of all that happens in the world. Hinduism is a great believer in delegation, decentralization.

Your eternal soul is a spark of the divine. You tell me then if God knows what you are doing?

I can prove this to be wrong. At least he is not reading your posts or at least not getting your obvious hint
It's amazing how much easier it is to like people once you stop expecting them to make sense.

God is God. He knows what would happen and what kind of post you would drop here. He gives us the freedom of choice to do what we want. Use it wisely.

@Woberts , nothing funny there. That is what many theist Hindus believe
Yeah, that is a smart question, because it side-steps the first question whether God exists or not. :)

Thanks. I have good people helping me to counterbalance the evil. Thank God for good people.

It's pretty funny when you imagine Yama clocking in for a day at the office, maybe scolding Chitragupta for not brewing coffee that morning.

God understands that many are searching for Truth but many know not where to find it. That is why most people are here although maybe some are here for entertainment or companionship. That's okay too. :)

I already know it's mine, so the question is which god are the others talking about that would have "human interests".

I would not want to believe in a jealous God who wants to be worshiped, and is angry if people think of others.
Yama and Chitragupta are on duty 24 x 365. They do not need breaks like we do. But coffee is OK. The seven and a half billion hardly give them time to relax. Souls are judged and disposed (to heaven or hell) almost instantly on arrival in Yama's domain. There is no backlog. Super efficient. :)

Yes, those sound more like "human interests" than something called "God".
