Do you think yuan is the cause of US trade deficit with China?

Mr Bush urged Mr Hu to take action over the yuan. US producers say its low value is a barrier to exports to China, and has contributed to the massive US trade deficit with China - which reached $202bn (£113bn) last year. Mr Bush said: "We would hope there would be more appreciation [of the currency]".

At the same time, we also learned the the neighbour is giving a supportive hand to US by claiming that China has industrial spies working hard in the cold northern country.:D http://edition.cnn.com/2006/WORLD/americas/04/20/canada.china.ap/index.html
Foreign Affairs Minister Peter MacKay said in an interview last week with Canada's CTV News that his government was "very concerned about economic espionage."
"It is something we want to signal that we want to address, and to continue to raise with the Chinese at the appropriate time," MacKay said, according to CTV's Web site.

And how did that old lady make it to the press stand without being stopped by the CIA and FBI etc? Looks like another failure of the US intelligent service? Or my conspiracy instinct told me that Bush has planted her there to embarass the Chinese President:biglaugh:

And UK break out with the news of China selling organ business to make sure everyone know that Chinese are up to no good. (see other thread)

And lastly the execution of prisoner makes it to the top of the news as well.

How the media works so hard to plant idea here and there, all to help Bush to negotiate for a better deal with President of China.:p
