I actually went more than a year with no meat. I had to ease back into it. Seafood, poultry, beef, and then pork is what I recommend for when you wanna come back to the dark side. ;)

I don't miss the other stuff at all ~ I was never really into it anyway ~ but I did love seafood. I still have pangs when I make crab and tuna cakes for my family.

more than word can yield the matter;
Dearer than eyesight, space, and liberty;
Beyond what can be valued, rich or rare;
No less than life, with grace, health, beauty, honor;
As much as child e’er loved, or father found
A love that makes breath poor, and speech unable.
Beyond all manner of so much I love toast

Friend enchanted one,

Do you love toast?
Do, but for us in India it is not an everyday affair but to get that English love for Toast this is a good poetry:
Breakfast in Bed - Hot Buttered Toast
by Ian R Thorpe
Hot Buttered Toast or Breakfast in Bed
Make toast in the old fashioned way;
yesterday's bread sliced thickly,
speared on the tines of a fork
and held over an open fire -
not dancing with exuberant flame
but glowing sullen red. When
the bread takes on the colour of
ripe grain and smells of late summer,
slide it onto a warm plate and spread
lasciviously with rich, yellow butter
which straightaway will soften
and start to flow viscously
like desire into the hot bread.

Gather the toast onto a tray
with a ramekin of marmalade,
a pot of English breakfast tea
and one single crimson rose.
Make for the stairs at steady pace
allowing the scent of thoughtfulness
and morning pleasures to march ahead
announcing to the beloved one
the imminent arrival of
breakfast in bed.
Love & rgds

Well, this song has been in my head for hours now.

Thanks.

(PS. I like cinnamon and sugar toast.)
Sounds like you could be a fan of French Toast. :eat: Nice and warm, cinnamon, sugar, and just a dab of real maple syrup. Not enough to even get the plate wet.
