I ask myself the following questions:
Do we have any evidence of souls entering bodies of newborns?
At what stage would a soul enter one's body?
Would it be different for ant, than a human?
Do we have evidence that women feel/notice souls entering their bodies, while pregnant?
Why should a soul be permanently locked in the same body, for its lifetime?
Is there a soul factory on some subatomic level?
Is soul just religious nonsense?
I don't know, and see no reason to believe any religious writings without solid evidence.
I imagine several solutions to the problem.
1. Somebody eventually discovers the meaning of life; a single sentence, explanation so good that nobody is able to deny it.
2. I discover it and tell the world.
3. I find out myself if/when my human body stops working.
