They do end off the Old Testament, that is the 12 minor prophets.
Hosea - a prophet told to marry an unfaithful woman
Joel - God's providence in the present and future
Amos - allot of social justice but also points to the Messiah
Jonah - God sovereign and merciful even to gentiles
Micah - Who is a God like you who delights in mercy
Nahum - the fall of Ninevah (and other nations that oppose God)v
Obadiah - pride vs humility
Habbukuk - can God use evil things for his purposes OR the justified (by faith) shall live
Zechariah - visions drawing from temple images
Zephaniah - judgement following a time of (shallow?) revival
Haggai - the second temple (the church?)
Malachi - God's strong love and our weak love
The minor prophets are quoted 40 times in the New Testament.
Of the top 10 most quoted books of the Old Testament in the New, Zechariah and Hosea are in the lead.

(edited) I put Nahum twice and left off Obadiah
