Do you consider Jesus a Witch?

If you believe that Jesus (& Moses ,ect) performed acts that would be considered today as witchcraft or/ alchemy?
What makes them different to a witch?

How would you feel if One showed this talent in this day and age? (would you consider 'evil' or would you consider the 'second coming')

do you have any examples you relate to?

Sure, say hello to witch Jesus, or I suppose blessed be.

Probably more a necromancer though.... Bringing folks back from the dead and all.

I am not sure where you get your ideas from but lets just say that they are very creative. :p

In the scriptures there is a marked difference between "magic" and the power of God to perform "miracles".

Magic and any form of spiritism is forbidden in scripture.

Deuteronomy 18:9-12...."When you have entered into the land that Jehovah your God is giving you, you must not learn to imitate the detestable practices of those nations. 10 There should not be found in you anyone who makes his son or his daughter pass through the fire, anyone who employs divination, anyone practicing magic, anyone who looks for omens, a sorcerer, 11 anyone binding others with a spell, anyone who consults a spirit medium or a fortune-teller, or anyone who inquires of the dead. 12 For whoever does these things is detestable to Jehovah, and on account of these detestable practices Jehovah your God is driving them away from before you."

These were common practices of the Canaanites who inhabited the land God had promised to Abraham's descendants long ago. If these practices were from the power of God, he would hardly find them "detestable".

The angelic creatures who inhabit the spirit realm are either faithful and obedient servants of God, or they are evil rebels who side with their leader satan.
These beings have great power and the ones who are faithful never overstep the boundaries set by God. The wicked angels (demons) have no problem using their power for evil purposes. But God has never allowed their powers to be used in a way that would wipe out humanity. If one angel could wipe out a military force of 185,000 men in one night, then this indicates the power they possess. (2 Kings 19:35) There are millions of angels. The Bible indicates that a third of them sided with satan. As free willed beings, they had that choice, just as we have.

Deception is what leads many to be curious about the spirit world, but it is not a place that humans are permitted to see or understand fully at present, especially not while satan and his hordes are still active.

A witch (or warlock) is a person who is breaking the rules of Deuteronomy 18:9-12. Spiritism cannot be practiced by Christians because it is tapping into the power of the devil, exposing people to deceptive and destructive influences. God has provided all the knowledge we need but he does not always satisfy our curiosity......and you know what that did to the cat.
