Fate and destiny give me a headache to think about, like most other philosophical concepts of the same caliber.

The idea behind these terms does not appeal to me.
I've yet to hear an argument for fate and destiny that I thought of as rational and logical.
The concepts also seemingly go against the observable chaos and randomness that is our universe.

When applied, it tends to create more questions than answers.
What is the purpose of fate and destiny? What is the end goal? Where does it lead us to?
Then there's the other concepts that get pulled into it, like reincarnation, which starts a kind of philosophical structure without a stable foundation.

I think the more simple answer is the better one, at least in this case.
Chaos and randomness, rather than fate and destiny.

I believe people had misunderstood what fate and destiny actually mean.

We can choose our fate but not God's fate, for example born to a poor family,
it's beyond the human control and should be accepted as one's fate, but the
person can try to work to change his fate to be a better person, he can't just sleep
and say it's my fate and I have to be a poor person till I die, so understanding
fate as not having any choices in our whole life is irrational and even problematic.
