I think that's a safe bet. I can't think of any of the religions that sprung from belief in that god that approve of premarital sex.

It's not viewed favourably, generally, no.

It's often a mortal offense so I guess that's a bit of an understatement.

From what I understand having read the OT, which just speaks of adultery, and not sex outside of marriage:

To the Abrahamic God, or at least the God of the OT, sex initiates marriage. So to have sex with multiple people is considered adultery, because the first person you have sex with is then the person you married. To "become one flesh" is to be in union with another and become one body, so that is the marriage.

In Christianity it may be, but in Jewish thought it's more complicated than that.

I don't know, but it sure seems like a strange thing for an omnimax deity to care about.

No, it's the celibate priests and other frigid leaders who dislike sex in general

Why do you think that is strange?

At one point, having relations with someone before marriage was an acceptable means of engagement; i.e., if you had relations with someone you were then automatically engaged to that person and this is a significant change in one's status. I've also come across the idea that having relations outside of marriage once is not necessarily sin.

Essentially my point here is, though, that unlike Christians who a lot of the time seem to go seeking these things out, Jewish folks will not tend to this. Unless there were 2 witnesses and the couple were warned that it is sin before engaging in the act, they cannot be prosecuted either way.

I do believe that God is within the love two people can feel for one another.
When there is real love, romantic love and not lust, two people are ready for sex. In God's eyes.
    So even before marriage.

To use a metaphor, I see it as similar to the ocean caring about the interactions between two grains of sand on a beach. It's such a trivially small thing for something so vast and great. Why would an omnimax deity - a force that transcends the universe, is said to be all powerful, all knowing, and eternal - care at all about the reproductive habits of a single species in the vastness of the universe? That is just really, really strange to me. I certainly grant that the omnimax conception of god is utterly incomprehensible as a general rule, but still. Seems to me that this obsession with human sex lives is a product of the humans promoting worship of this god. It just doesn't make sense to me otherwise.

According to the Baha'i Faith, sex is only allowed in marriage between a man and a woman.

“The proper use of the sex instinct is the natural right of every individual, and it is precisely for this very purpose that the institution of marriage has been established. The Bahá'ís do not believe in the suppression of the sex impulse but in its regulation and control.” Lights of Guidance (second part): A Bahá'í Reference File, pp. 364-365

The following law is from Bahá'u'lláh's Book of Laws.

“The Bahá’í teachings on sexual morality centre on marriage and the family as the bedrock of the whole structure of human society and are designed to protect and strengthen that divine institution. Bahá’í law thus restricts permissible sexual intercourse to that between a man and the woman to whom he is married.” The Kitáb-i-Aqdas, p. 223

Yes. It is clearly against God’s laws as Revealed through the Tanakh and NT.

He shouldn't have let the Judges destroy Asherah's garden. Now, poor Yaweh get's to sleep on the couch for all eternity. That's why he is so stuck up about sex and women's rights. It's all a divine tantrum.
