If it ain't worship I don't think God cares if you celebrate it.

I see no evidence that the celebration of Christmas is a form of worship or serving God.

I agree. The Santa decorations have nothing to do with Jesus being the Son of God.

I find an interesting verse at Proverbs 6:16-17 that is is wrong to tell lies.
There are many ' religious lies ' told besides ' secular lies ' associated with the so-called Christmas & Nativity scene.

I'm unconvinced that any of this matters to God.

Good point because we can't picture Jesus or his apostles dressed up decorated in a Santa suit.
Some adults masquerading as Santa and kind of like playing ' Babes in Toyland ' for children. Sort of a ' gift mass ' celebration.
Santa being the ' god' of Children ( for some children Satan is the first ' god' they are introduced to) that right actions are required and rewarded by: Santa.

I am wondering why you would think that telling lies does Not matter to God ____________

I can agree that God only cares about what matters, and in the Bible what matters to God is that we should Not lie but be honest.
Honest with self and honest with others.
Some people lie to cover up mistakes just so they look good even if it hurts another person.
In the business world: some have used ' cheating scales ' to defraud people into thinking they are getting an accurate measure.
Some who work out of home only pretend to give a full days work defrauding their boss.
Perhaps one could pick out of the list, behaviors linked to being dishonest, as listed at 2 Timothy 3:1-5,13

Exactly. It's about behavior - not individual "lies".

I like telling my kids about Santa, the Easter Bunny and the Tooth Fairy. I do it because its fun for both me and them and does no harm.

I'm not some compulsive liar who has a "lying tongue" and says these things to "deviseth wicked imaginations" or "soweth discord among brethren" like it is said in Proverbs 6.

I believe you are just making a mountain out of a mole hill.

You're still avoiding answering my question by just walking around it. Jesus made a promise to guide his Church to the end of time, which totally goes against what the JW's preach, especially since the JW's didn't exist then and the Church that was and is the "one body" Paul refers to it as being. Therefore, how can that "one body", which also had an organizational structure that started with the Twelve and their appointees, have supposedly slipped out of favor after Jesus' promise?

Or, is Christmas a mountain made out of molehill __________
Evidence reveals the so-called Christmas is of non-biblical origin.
Early Christians shunned what was Not biblical. They neither appointed nor promoted to celebrate any birthdays.
Can a Babylonian or pagan festival please God when just dressed up with biblical names.
Which includes excessive material consumption, or a 'national religion' based on materialism.
Features of Christmas smacks of falsehoods deviating from Scripture.
Remember: Christmas is a mixture of fairytale stories mixed with religion.
So, this manufactured holiday points to a non-biblical past and Not as presented in Scripture.
A manufactured holiday mostly about excesses ( such as: over eating, over drinking, over spending which conflicts with Bible principles, Bible standards.
After all, St. Nick is mostly a marketing tool to tell the ' Santa Story ' v/s telling the ' Jesus Story '.

Yeah - I don't think any of that matters since Christmas isn't a worship service.

The slipping out of favor is what gospel writer Luke wrote about at Acts of the Apostles 20:28-30.
Fake 'weed/tares' Christians would grow together with the genuine ' wheat ' Christians until the Harvest Time.
The Harvest Time or these last days of badness on Earth as described at 2 Timothy 3:1-5,13.
The 'wheat ' and 'weed/tares' would be noticeable - see Matthew 7:22-23; Matthew 7:20.

Huh? After All Jesus was a witness for Jehovah.
Please notice Jesus' words found at John 17:6 that Jesus manifested God's name (YHWH)
Please notice Jesus' words found at John 17:26 that Jesus declared God's name (YHWH) and he (Jesus) will declare God's name (YHWH).
Besides Jesus taught that God's name (YHWH) should be 'hallowed' ( held as sacred / holy)
So, the genuine ' wheat ' have been guided through out the centuries to do God's will such as found at Matthew 24:13-14; Acts 1:8

Again, you have walked around what Jesus' taught on this, preferring to blindly accept what your Governing Body has taught you to believe. The "Church" is not an individual, and all your posts on this just deal with the latter.

Thus, you refuse to face the reality of what the scripture clearly says on this matter. Until you acknowledge what Jesus said about guiding his Church, you will continue to ignore him and blindly believe in your GB's teachings. Thus, we're done.

And the Church was and is an organization that Jesus created, thus not just individuals.
