Divine Supports and Signs of Truth

DawudTalut

Peace be upon you.
When God sends a promised one with the reminder for humanity to recognize Him, do good and avoid evil, then God shows continuous support and signs for His Truth from heaven and earth and His Light prevails. Here are some examples.

Peace be on you…People with veils on their spiritual eyes, who have decided not to believe, they do not see supports and signs by Allah the Exalted. The deniers of Prophets always have this very way that after seeing the signs they say, ‘Show us signs.’ Because they exceed limits, Allah the Exalted closes their hearts. So they cannot reach the truth. Sometimes Allah the Exalted make them the sign of admonition.

The opponents of the Hazrat Promised Messiah (on whom be peace) were also like this. Despite witnessing many signs, they would not see any sign due to their obstinacy or they would just disregard them. But indeed Allah made certain amongst them an emblem of warning.

Hazrat Promised Messiah (on whom be peace) mentioned listing of many fulfilled signs of Allah the Exalted in his support. He stated listing of what Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be on him) said and prophesied and fulfilled…But these religious leaders themselves did not accept and made people astray too and continue to do so till now.

==

On various occasion, Hazrat Promised Messiah (on whom be peace) stated various signs for the truth of the Movement. He (a.s.) told that Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be on him) declared these as signs.

1) Among these, there is the sign of lunar and solar eclipse. He (a.s.) said that, till this sign was not fulfilled the clerics would read this Hadith crying…When this sign fulfilled, not once but twice, once in Hindustan and second time in America [1895, 1896], then these people who sought this sign, retracted. But they could not deny the sign because it had appeared. Their stubbornness stood in their way…….A friend reported to Hazrat Promised Messiah (a.s.) that when this sign occurred, a clergy repeatedly would hit his hand on his upper legs i.e. expressing pain and sorrow and said, ‘now the world is gone astray.’……….Hazrat Promised Messiah (on whom be peace) said that think over the fact that was he more well-wisher of the world than God the Exalted?

====

2) Likewise, in the support of Hazrat Promised Messiah (a.s.) there are signs of:

-- plague,

-- creation of canals,

-- development of new communities,

-- ripping of mountains,

-- publishing of books and newspapers

-- new vehicles,

In short, there are many such signs which he (a.s.) mentioned, which are prophesied in Holy Quran and foretold by Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be on him) too.

---

Hazrat Promised Messiah (a.s.) showed signs after signs, miracles upon miracle, and brought Ayaat (verses, signs) after ayaat, but some people made petty, hollow and ridiculous objections like his turban is bent, he uses almond oil, he cannot articulate the alphabet ‘ق - qaf’ etc etc.

Hazrat Musleh Maud (r.a.) said, do not close your eyes to the signs of God. Many people would come to Hazrat Sahib and ask for some sign. He (a.s.) would reply that did you gain any benefit from earlier signs, that you need more now? When you have not gained any benefit from the previous thousands of signs then how will you be benefitted from more?

Such people always remain deprived; it is their destiny.

====

3) A powerful sign which fulfills everyday, Hazrat Promised Messiah (on whom be peace) said about it:

In the book 'Braheen-e-Ahmadiyya' Allah has taught me a Dua, i.e. as revelation He says ‘rabbey la tazerni fardun wa anta khairul wareseen’ i.e. do not leave me alone and make a Jama'at…..He said at other place, ‘yateeka min kulley fajin ameeq’ i.e. Allah the Exalted will provide by Himself the money and necessaries from everywhere which is essential for guests, and they shall come to you from every path. Then He said, ‘ yatona min kulley fajjin ameeq’ i.e. from each path and every side, guests shall come to you…This prophecy was made 26 years ago and it is being fulfilled till today with immense majesty.

Hazrat Khalifatul Messiah V (may Allah be his Helper) said we see this prophecy is being fulfilled till now with great grandeur. The daily increase of his (on whom be peace) Jama'at, member’s progress in financial sacrifice, it is a powerful proof and a sign of his truth. But it is only seen by one who is discerning, it cannot be seen by blinds.

====

4) With regard to revelations of Hazrat Promised Messiah (a.s.), the means of dominance of Ahmadiyya Islam and progress of Jama'at, Hazrat Musleh Mo'ud (r.a.) said: Allah the Exalted continuously told Hazrat Promised Messiah (a.s.) that Jama'at Ahmadiyya will have to do same sacrifices, as Jama'ats of previous Prophets had to do. Thus once, he (a.s.) saw in dream that he entered the house of Nizam ud Din. The meaning of Nizamuddin is ‘system of Deen’. This dream means that eventually one day Ahmadiyya Jama'at will become the System of Deen and will dominate all other systems of the world [Insha Allah]. But how will this supremacy take place, about it he (a.s.) says in dream that ‘ we shall enter this house somewhat as way of Hassan and somewhat as way of Hussain.’ All these people know Hazrat Hassan (r.a.) obtained success through peacemaking and the success attained by Hazrat Hussain (r.a.) was by shahadat / martyrdom. Thus Hazrat Promised Messiah (a.s.) was foretold that Jama'at will indeed reach at the station of ‘Nizam ud Din’ but somewhat with peacemaking, love and affection and somewhat through martyrdoms and sacrifices.

If any of us thinks that this Jama'at will develop without peacemaking, love and affection than he makes mistake too. And if someone thinks that this Movement will progress without sacrifices and martyrdoms then he is also incorrect.

Sometime, we shall have to go towards peacemaking and reconciliation and sometime we shall have to adopt the way of Hussain; it means we can die before opponent but shall not accept his demand. Both these ways are destined for us. Neither the manner of Messiahiat [Messiah-ness] is destined for us, nor only mode of Mahdwiyyat [Mahdi-ness] is destined for us. There is a middle path, at which we shall have to walk. One dominance will be with peacemaking, love and affection, and other dominance will be with sacrifices. After that, Jama'at will enter in the house of ‘Nizam ud Din’ and it will gain success.

Today we see model of these two thing being shown by members of Jama'at. Message of peacemaking, security, reconciliation is from us and Jama'at is also offering sacrifices for Deen.

====

5) Further Mention of above revelation: Hazrat Musleh Mo'ud (r.a.) says: Once revelation came to Hazrat Promised Messiah (a.s.) and was shown that we shall enter in the house of Mirza Nizamuddin (near Mubarak Mosque) somewhat in way of Hassan and somewhat in way of Hussain. Many people were surprised what could be meaning of this revelation. I myself have heard from Hazrat Sahib that he said he did know meaning of this revelation but meanings open at the time.

====

6) Hazrat Musleh Mo'ud (r.a.) said that Hazrat Promised Messiah (a.s.) had told at that time, when there was not a single person with him, God the Exalted had given him news that his Jama'at would have so much progress that other nations of the world would remain like ancient nomad nations as they are today.

We, daily, see ever-new scenes of support by Allah the Exalted, Insha Allah that day will come when these scenes would be seen for sure and we, Jama'at Ahmadiyya, will make so much progress that others will be of minor status. But we, in ourselves and in our generations, need to infuse the spirit of Deen, by which Allah the Exalted show us these scenes.

Where there are supports, there are oppositions too against the Jama'ats of Prophets since ever. Such oppositions do not terrify them, instead these strengthen and increase their Eman. Hazrat Khalifatul Messiah V (a.t.) mentioned recent opposition against Jama'at in two cleric ridden Asian and north African countries and how the faith and morale of peace-loving Ahmadiyya Community there is high with strong faith and determinations. Huzur (a.t.) pointed out that, instead of grabbing peaceful and country loving and law abiding Ahmadis, those people should be caught, from whose hands lives of common people are not saved and who are trying to make the roots of countries hollow, and those too who are looting the countries with both hands.

Peace be upon you.
7) The most dangerous and greatest opposition comes from the some partners, locals and relatives. They cannot bear that someone among them can get respect, importance and following. They show hatreds of hearts in some ways or others. Hazrat Khalifatul Masih 1 (May Allah be pleased with him) told that that one of the wealthy men from Shahpur got the title of 'Khan Bahadur' [a British title in India under their rule]. After that from among the same family, a poor women named her son as 'Khan Bahadur'. About the reason she said that I do not know what will my son become when he grows up but at least he will be called with same name as that of the wealthy man…..Those who cannot do anything else they adopt a name……..When Hazrat Promised Messiah (a.s.) claimed, one of his relatives also claimed to be an Imam. He saw people were following the Hazrat Promised Messiah (a.s.) so he wanted attention and importance. Everyone's thinking and pondering ability is according to his own strength and outlook. Hazrat Promised Messiah (on whom be peace) claimed he was sent as ‘Hakam’ for all world and it not only required of the people of low status but also by the great kings that they should follow me.

The relative had claimed to be the Imam of schedule castes.

Hazrat Promised Messiah (a.s.) when claimed he even wrote that it is obligation of king of England to believe him thus he wrote it to the Queen of England.

In contrast, the bravery of Imam of schedule castes and his community was such that when in-charge of police station asked him whether he made any claim, he said he did not make any claim, someone might had reported wrongly!

Therefore, the close relatives, when oppose, become the worse of opponents and try to inflict harm by any way.

==

8) There were many relatives of Hazrat Promised Messiah (a.s.) who cut family ties with him due to Ahmadiyya Islam. They would call names. Hazrat Musleh Mo'ud [the eldest son of Hazrat Promised Messiah a.s.] said our ‘Taee sahiba’ [wife of elder brother of Hazrat Promised Messiah – latter she became Ahmadi ] used to mistreat us……In Qadian, the Hazrat Promised Messiah (on whom be peace) was boycotted. No one was allowed to go to his home for any sort of work or house chores. The very close relatives would inflict various troubles.

==

9) Once seven Ahmadi brothers from the area of Gujrat came to Qadian and went to see the garden of Hazrat Promised Messiah (a.s.)……Hazrat Musleh Mo'ud (r.a.) said that On their way, one of our relatives who was working in his garden enquired about their visit to Qadian. The guests answered that we have come from Gujrat just for Hazrat Mirza Sahib. The relative said to them that I am Hazrat Mirza Sahib’s maternal cousin and I know for sure how bad he is! Upon hearing this one of the brothers held him tight and called upon his other brothers to come quickly. The relative got worried about experiencing this but the Ahmadi guest who had held him said that I will not beat you because you are relative of Hazrat Promised Messiah (a.s.). I just want to show my brothers your face because we had heard Satan is invisible but today we have seen how he looks like!

==

10) There were many oppositions but Allah the Exalted comforted Hazrat Promised Messiah (a.s.) that lineage of the family would be from you, others would be disconnected….Now only those people exist from among this family who joined Ahmadiyya Movement and the generations of all others have finished. When Hazrat Promised Messiah (a.s.) claimed to be the Imam Mahdi of the age, there were approximately 70 men in the family. But now except for those who are associated to Promised Messiah (Peace be on Him) biologically or spiritually, none of those 70 have any children. These were the people who had tried their levels best to eradicate Hazrat Sahibs name but as a result they themselves got destroyed and their generations did not grow. This is also one of the greatest signs of the truth of Hazrat Promised Messiah (on whom be peace).

==

11) Some revelations and prophecies are in few words but pondering at these increase faith a lot……The prophecy of the Hazrat Promised Messiah (a.s.) 'Tayee Ayee' [auntie comes] was such prophecy….Old time Ahmadis said they could not understand its meaning…..The simple meanings could be a woman whose relation is of ‘Tayee’ [ wife of father’s elder brother] come. The meaning of coming can have two different elaborations. One is that she comes close or other is that she enters the Jama'at Ahmadiyyat….. Simply coming cannot be any prophecy because relatives often come over. ……Even many elders in family would call the sister-in-law of Hazrat Promised Messiah (a.s.) as ‘Tayee’…..She was a staunch opponent at the time of the prophecy of 'Mohammadi Begum'. As she was eldest in the family and the prophecy was regarding her niece (sister’s daughter), therefore she considered it obligatory for her to stop this relationship as she thought of it as a disgrace to the family. To her, it was her important duty to oppose. For her family's respect and dignity was above all religious in fact all political matters. At that time, the claim of Hazrat Promised Messiah a.s. was not as important for the 'Tayee' as the family dignity. It is difficult for elders to obey youngers, and Hazrat Promised Messiah (a.s.) was younger than her. He did not ask for share in heritance, his meals would come for house of Tayee, in this way she considered herself as benevolent of Him (she would not consider he had not ask for share in heritance)…….Hazrat Promised Messiah (on whom be peace) says in one of his Arabic poetic verse that 'there was a time when I used to depend on pieces of food of others, but now Allah has blessed me with such dignity that thousands now eat food from my kitchen'. …….The verse indicate too that his (a.s.) property was not separate, it was with brother, and he (a.s.) did not feel to have it, his father too used to say he (a.s.) would not be able to take care of it…… In these circumstances, ‘Tayee sahiba’ becoming a believer was very difficult matter as she considered herself owner…She considere him (a.s.) a poor man who was fed at pieces of food of her…..In these circumstances she could not allow that he (a.s.) may marry her niece…She was eldest thus especially opponent….In that time, opposition to Hazrat Promised Messiah (a.s.) was very severe, there was no mutual meeting with relatives….He was isolated as he was considered as one who damaged family respect……In these circumstances, thinking ‘Tayee’ would become Ahmadi was apparently impossible…..In such time revelation came to Hazrat Promised Messiah (a.s.) that ‘Tayee ayee’ [auntie comes]….She was sister-in-law to Hazrat Promised Messiah (a.s.), thus these words meant she would do Bai'at at time when her relation to Bai'at taker would be of ‘Tayee’ [auntie: wife of father’s elder brother] and he was to be son of Hazrat Promised Messiah (a.s.). [If she had to do Bai'at in times of Hazrat Promised Messiah (a.s.) or Hazrat Khalifah I (r.a.) the words of revelation had to be different.]

There are three prophecies in this revelation: i) Khalifah would be from children of Hazrat Promised Messiah's (a.s.). ii) At that time, ‘Tayee sahiba’ would join Jama'at. iii) There was prophecy about her age… At that time Hazrat Promised Messiah (a.s.) was about 70 years old and she was older than him. Prophecy meant she would live, there would be a Khalifah from his (a.s.) children and she would join his Bai'at.

It is a very big thing to have such a long age because a human brain cannot even predict this for a young person that he'd be alive for a certain time. Tayee passed away in year 1927.

Therefore, it was a very major sign to confirm the truthness of the Hazrat Promised Messiah (on whom be peace)…

After accepting Ahmadiyya Islam, Tayee also did 'Wasiyyat' [Will]. Considering traditions and feelings in old fashioned families, her doing ‘wasiyyat’ was a great change……She had opposed the burial of Hazrat Promised Messiah (a.s.) in other place [i.e. Promised graveyard ‘Bahishti Maqbara’] instead of family graveyard…She considered it as family insult.

Then it was her state that she joined ‘Wasiayyat’ and was buried in 'Bahishti Maqbara'.

For a wise person, it is very big sign. Apparently, it is small matter, and is about one person, but there are many angles of proofs of truth.

DawudTalut

Peace be upon you.
12) Regarding travel of Hazrat Promised Messiah (a.s.) to Delhi: Human when keep trust in God, he can never think that divine works will remain result-less. …..Hazrat Musleh Maud (May Allah be pleased with him) said that I was then a young boy when Hazrat Promised Messiah (on whom be peace) travelled to Delhi. He (a.s.) visited the shrines of Oliya ullah [Friends of Allah: Pious Elders] of here and did lengthy prayers and said: I pray so that the souls of these elders get excited, so that it may not happen that their generation may remain deprived of recognizing this Nur (light) which Allah the Exalted has sent for their guidance in this era…..Surely a day will come when Allah the Exalted will open there heart and they shall accept Truth.

Hazrat Musleh Mo'ud (r.a.) said though he was young then but the effect of words of Hazrat Promised Messiah (a.s.) is still left in his heart. Thus if the Jama'at here wants to see a fruitful result of their efforts then they should lay their trust in God. Surely a day will come when the thing that Allah wants to establish it will have to take place.

Hazrat Musleh Mo'ud (r.a.) had said all these things in response to an address by Delhi Jama'at. Therefore, even today it is the responsibility of Delhi Jama'at to convey the message of Hazrat Promised Messiah (on whom be peace) with wisdom. Ma sha Allah, quite a progress has been made in conveying message by exhibitions etc. But there is also opposition from other Believers, so there is lot of need to convey this message to them too. And along with these things, the most important thing is Dua (prayer), a lot of attention has to be paid to this.

==

13) Hazrat Musleh Maud (May Allah be pleased with him) also mentioned that Hazrat Promised Messiah (on whom be peace) saw in a Kashf [dream in waking] that there is a very long dug ditch. Upon it, sheep have been laid down, and at the head of every sheep, a butcher with knife in hand is ready and his gaze is towards sky, as wait is for order. [Hazrat Promised Messiah (a.s.) says that] I am walking at this place at that time. Going near them, I said: ‘qul ma yabao bekum rabbi lo la doa okum….’ [ch25: from v 78: Say, what does my Lord care about you! if you do not pray to Him…..], they ran the knives right at that instant. When those sheep writhed, they (butchers) said, what thing are you; just rubbish eating sheep!

Hazrat Musleh Mo'ud (r.a.) said: In those days, seventy thousand people died of cholera. Thus if one does not pay attention, what care God has of him? His works cannot be stopped, these take place.

====

14) After three hundred years of Hazrat Messiah of Nazareth, Christianity was magnified. But if we ponder over our conditions, it is evident that much earlier than the duration of Messiah of Nazareth, Ahmadiyyat will get progress Insha Allah Ta’a’a...... Be it any cleric, a religious leader or any worldly power, near Allah the Exalted they have no importance due to their opposition to divine truth……. And these people can never become hindrance in the progress of Ahmadiyyat. But for this progress only mublegheen / missionaries should not be considered enough....... Hazrat Khalifatul Messiah V (a.t.) said If you have to be a part of this development, and should be, then we too have to divert our attention to prayers, we shall have to increase our spirituality, we shall have to develop and increase our relationship with Allah. These are the things that will put an end to the opposition of Ahmadiyyat and will make us sharer in the progress of Ahmadiyyat Insha Allah Ta’alaa. May Allah the Exalted grant us this station. [Aameen]
