Democrats for Mitt

Through the Looking Glass
This is interesting - poll numbers indicate that despite his strong support among Michigan Republicans, Romney may still lose his "home" state to McCain because of the latter's support among independents and Democrats who plan to vote in the GOP since there is no Michigan Democratic primary this year. Daily Kos and a few others have come to the Mittster's aid, however, including creating this little gem:

I have seriously considered doing this very thing. My decision will mostly depend on how close the Democratic race is, both the poll numbers in Georgia and the nationwide standings up to that point.

It worked. Romney won Michigan and Nevada. Demos don't have a primary in Michigan, but Clinton is winning Nevada in exit polling. Now all eyes turn to South Carolina. Florida is a must win for Rudy, but Feb 5 is an eternity away from now, in Political Time.
