Considering the chances of receiving a stolen phone back are nearly nil, I'd just disable location services on every phone. I do that all of the time. It's not anyone's business where I am.

There should be full disclosure and "opt in" (not opt out).

I earn some money from google by giving up privacy, by answering questions using an app. But that's my choice as well as my choice not to answer all their questions.

You know the thing that gets me is why we can't sue or if we prefer get paid royalties for use of our own names and information.

I could never understand why that would apply to corporations but never us as a person.

I would demand recompense for the use of what is my name and my information and if use for profit making to be paid a stipend by way of royalties each time my name and personal information is used.

Well, you see its not about what you think companies can do it is about what companies can do. It is perfectly legal for companies to do this.

The point he made was that this should apply to individuals. Which leads to stopping "of the corporation, by the corporation and for the corporation" laws.
