Deist Churches

The Sum of Awe

Brought to you by the moment that spacetime began.
There are religions that involve a Deistic theology, but not sure there are churches for Deism itself.

A "Deistic" church suggests a Deistic dogma. Something abhorrent to most Deist.

Personally, I a comfortable attending the local UU.

Whilst I agree that the ideas of a church and deism are conflicting, there are two online deist churches. One is the United Deist Church, the other the Church of Deism. Of course a deist shouldn't need a church because they don't actually worship anything, but they do exist.

I am sure a church is possible for Deism , worshiping the unknown master.

The master in this case is surely a God.

I think of there being an 'Eternal Source' at the centre of the universe which creates everything but has no real interest in life afterwards.
