Most ideas are dangerous to anyone who has an interest in the status quo which that particular idea addresses. This may be a very small number of people, or very large, depending on the idea.

To some anything that suggests change is dangerous. But, I think no change would be a lot more dangerous. I like the quote.

Do we have an obligation to society to propose "dangerous ideas" if we believe that acting on them will be beneficial to people?
