Bodhisattva in Recovery
I am starting this as a musical diary of a sorts. The idea is that these are songs that are playing in my head when I wake up in the morning. I'm sure most of you know how such songs will stay with you for the first few hours, ebbing and flowing with the intrusions of the day. Often the feeling is quite wonderful. I'll try to include a brief snippet about the weather too, just to flesh out the ambiance.
I know Dustin did a similar thread awhile back, but this one is different in that these are pieces that I woke up with, rather than just thinking of a neat song to revisit each day. In those terms, I didn't think of them, they were just there playing as soon as I became conscious.
If anyone else wants to post songs that they woke up with, feel free. That is the only proviso other than to comment on the odd tunes circulating in my semi-consciousness. Again, if the song is not playing the moment you became conscious in the morning (or whenever) it doesn't count.
Day one: February 19, 2011:
Clear and cold. Blue sky, dazzling sunlight after a several days of rain and fog. Heavy frost on the roof and grass, all glittering in the sunlight.

Day two: February 20, 2011:
Also clear and cold. Sunny but not quite as much frost. Still, a gorgeous morning.

Day three: February 21, 2011:
Cold and cloudy. Light snow fell at 8:30 with more expected later in the afternoon and evening.
(This one has a very quiet beginning... so give it a chance...)
