corrospondances in Hinduism

hello, I am studying hinduism, and I have noticed a certain feature of these religions which is very interesting to me, that is, the way that parts of hindu society correspond to hindu religious concepts. for instance in classical Hindu music many melodies are associated with different deities, in the brahmanas or aranyakas the caste/jatis corrospond to the cosmic body, brahmins = head, etc.,
it seems to me that this is unique in world religions for there to be so many 'corrospondences' like this, with so much structure throughout.
I am wondering, can someone who knows more about this than me, demonstrate more corrospondances, and especially, if you know a source that quickly and easily lists them, give me a reference?
