I was picking some corn for my dinner tonight and found an unwelcome visitor. It didn't eat too much thankfully. I'm hoping this gets me nominated in the weirdest thread category in the 2022 RF awards.

Also, I learned today that the original term "ear worm" meant corn ears.

When I first heard the term "corn" meaning a sore on one's foot, I thought it meant that someone actually had corn growing on their foot. I imagine that would hurt.
