Thing is that not all religions proselytize and there are lots of non religious groups that are guilty of taking advantage of those who are vulnerable.

That is indeed the case, my outlook comes from my faith, and I see humanity will change for the better.

In the end, we should all help the vulnerable.

Oh. OK. That is a step forward but I was under the impression that they were telling people not to convert.
I'm not an authority on this, so you may be right. Better ask someone who really knows. Just from what I have heard it's not "don't convert" and more "trust me, you don't want to convert".
