A little truth behind the health care plan.Buying into this healthcare plan is way more than unconstitutional, it is a crime against humanity.Conventional medicine is the number #1 killer in the US. We are now being forced into being an accessory to the crime.

total number of deaths caused by conventional medicine is an astounding 783,936 per year. It is now evident that the American medical system is the leading cause of death and injury in the US. (By contrast, the number of deaths attributable to heart disease in 2001 was 699,697, while the number of deaths attributable to cancer was 553,251.5)
Health | Conventional Medicine is Now the Number One Cause of Death

Right...?

Oh man... this spam e-mail claim pops up all the time, and to make matters worse it has such naturopathic quacks as Gary Null attached to it. Nobody argues that medical mistakes aren't a major health issue, but moronic statements along the lines of "conventional medicine is the main cause of death in the U.S." fail to acknowledge how conventional medicine is also the major cause of saving lives and alleviating health problems.

This particular spammy claim originated when the Institute of Medicine published a paper in 2000 called To Err is Human that found up to 98,000 deaths a year in the U.S. were attributable to medical errors. Shocking, but it's actually a bit more complicated than that. Parading these claims around and misinterpreting the statistics involved is par for the course for alt' medicine alarmists. To put the numbers in perspective, in 2000 alone conventional medical advances in coronary diseases alone resulted in over 340,000 fewer deaths. Medical errors occur, and correcting these mistakes are of paramount importance, but the ignorant claim that conventional medicine does more harm than good is just plain ridiculous.

You noted the statistics are peer reviewed right?
