Well I've never resorted to personal attacks. I do believe everyone thinks they are right. Thing is people may not realize their own arrogance by officiating their perspective as the only way things could be.

I never thought if it that way. Probably most people do not realize their own arrogance by officiating their perspective as the only way things could be. If a person is self-aware they might realize when they are being arrogant but otherwise they won't.

I don't have to, we all know it's so. We just don't always know WHEN it's so. Which is we we need to be willing to speak up, even though we may be wrong. And why we need to be willing to listen, even though we may be right.

There is no need for confrontation, it only create negativity. Confrontation means the self telling others "I know better than you" and it is not so.

It could be escapism brought about by fear of confrontation. Very unhealthy if that is the case.
