    John affirms the 10 commandments……

    1. John says it is only by keeping God’s 10 commandments that we know that we know God (1 John 2:3)
    2. If someone says that they know God and do not keep God’s 10 commandments they are lying and not telling the truth (1 John 2:4)
    3. We should purify ourselves as Jesus is pure (1 John 3:3)
    4. Sin is the breaking of God’s 10 commandments (1 John 3:4)
    5. Whoever is abiding in Christ does not commit sin (1 John 3:6; John 15:4-10)
    6. If you are in unrepentant sin you have not seen Jesus or know him (1 John 3:6)
    7. John warns us that only those that are obedience to God’s Law are his true followers (1 John 3:7)
    8. If someone is committing unrepentant sin they are following the devil and not God (1 John 3:7)
    9. If you are born of God and abiding in him you will not commit sin (1 John 3:9; 1 John 3:6; John 15:4-10
    10. It is the keeping of God’s commandments that is the difference between those that are following God and those that are not following God (1 John 3:10; 1 John 5:3)
    11. It is only by Love through faith that we can keep God’s commandments (1 John 5:3-4)
    12. God’s true believers in the end days will keep all of God’s commandments through faith in Jesus (Rev 14:12; 22:14)

James also affirms the 10 commandments…….

    1. James says God’s Law (10 commandments) are a Royal Law (James 2:8)
    2. If we break one of God’s commandments we a guilty before God as sinners breaking all of God’s Law and gave some examples of breaking God’s Law (James 2:9-11)
    3. James says God’s Law is a law of liberty and freedom (James 2:12)
    4. The 10 commandments (God’s Law) are the standard in the judgment (James 2:12)
    5. If our faith does not have the fruit of obedience to God’s Law it is dead and not true faith (James 2:16-26)

    Peter affirms the 10 commandments……..

    1. Sanctification is to obedience to God’s Law (1 Peter 1:2)
    2. We can only be changed from sin to obedience to God’s Law by the power of God and it will be revealed in the last days (1 Peter 1:5)
    3. We should give up our sins to be holy because Jesus is holy (1 Peter 1:13-16)
    4. Jesus is your example who did no sin (1 Peter 2:21-22)
    5. Cease from sin and do not live in the flesh (1 Peter 4:1-3)
    6. Judgement will begin at the house of God and sinners (those breaking God’s 10 commandments) will not be saved.
    7. God has given us his precious promises and as we believe them God will grant us his divine power to live a life of Godliness (obedience to God’s Law; 2 Peter 1:2-4)
    8. The Un-Godly (disobedient to God’s Law) will be like Sodom and Gomorrah (2 Peter 2:6)
    9. If any turn away from God’s Law and are in unrepentant sin breaking any of God’10 commandments they will be lost (2 Peter 2:20-22)
10 God is not willing that any should perish but that everyone should come to repentance and turn away from sin to follow God’s 10 commandments because those that do not will receive the judgements of God (2 Peter 3:5-14)

What did Jesus and the Apostles teach about the Sabbath in the New Testament?

    1. It is lawful to do good on the Sabbath (Matthew 12:1-8; 10-12; 24:20; Mark 3:1-5; Luke 6:1-10; 13:14-16; 14:1-5; John 7:22-23; 9:14; Mark 1:21; Mark 6:2; Luke 4:16; 31; Luke 14:1; 23:56)
    2. Jesus made the Sabbath for all mankind (Hebrews 1:2; John 1:1-3; 14; Ephesians 3:9; Colossians 1:16-17; Mark 2:27)
    3. Jesus is Lord of the Sabbath (Mark 2:28)
    4. If you do not believe and follow God you cannot enter His Sabbath rest (Hebrews 4)
    5. It is one of God’s 10 commandments we break it we are guilty or breaking all (James 2:8-12)
    6. Breaking it is sin (1 John 3:4)
    7. God’s true followers keep it Holy as God commanded (Revelation 14:12; Revelation 22:14; Ezekiel 20:20)
    8. Jesus is our example and he kept the Sabbath (Matthew 12:1-8; 10-12; 24:20; Mark 3:1-5; Luke 6:1-10; 13:14-16; 14:1-5; John 7:22-23; 9:14; Mark 1:21; Mark 6:2; Luke 4:16; 31; Luke 14:1; 23:56; John 2:6; Matthew 16:24; 1 Corinthians 11:1; Ephesians 5:1-21; Peter 2:20-22)
    9. The Apostle kept the Sabbath (Acts 13:14; 13:27; 13:44; 15:21; 16:13; 17:2; 18:4; Rev 1:10)

God’s Law in the NC is written on our hearts through faith to love and it is love the fulfils God’s Law in us as we walk not after the flesh but after the spirit and is why Jesus says f you love me keep my commandments. (John 14:15; John 15:10). If we knowingly break one of God’s commandments we commit sin (1 John 3:4). This includes the 7th Day Sabbath which Jesus made for us and commands us to keep as a holy day.

Yep you need a new bible.

You are confused in the MOSAIC shadow laws that pointed to JESUS and God's plan of salvation in the new covenant *Hebrews 7; Hebrews 8; Hebrews 9; Hebrews 10; Ephesians 2 and Colossians 2 with God's eternal law that gives us the knowledge of what sin is in the new covenant *Romans 3:20; 1 John 3:4. There is no 613 commandments in God's 10 commandments.

Let me ask you plainly again. How many commandments are there in God's 10 commandments (scripture only please); 7; 9; 10 or 613? Here is a hint here *Deuteronomy 10:4.

Only God's WORD is true and we should believe and follow it. You are in error. I hope you can receive Gods' Word in the spirit (love) which is only sent as a help to you.

Receieve God's WORD and be blessed.

    And what would that be?

The disciples met together and broke break every day of the week. That does not mean that Gods 4th commandment has been abolished and we are now commanded to keep Sunday as a Holy day *Acts 2:47-48. Sunday worship is a man made teaching and tradition that has lead many to break the commandments of God which JESUS warns us about in MATTHEW 15:3-9. The question we must ask ourselves is who are we believing and following; God or man?

Rubbish! We follow JESUS because we love him *John 14:15 which is the new covenant promise *Hebrews 8:10-12. Not because we are saved by what we do.

God's LAW (10 Commandment) in the new covenant which is to give us a "KNOWLEDGE" of what sin is when they are broken *Romans 3:20; 1 John 3-4; Romans 7:7 and to lead us to Christ that we might be forgiven through faith *Galatians 3:22-25 which is who the law leads us to *Romans 10:4.

This is in contrast to some who are deluded into thinking that God's LAW is abolished. God's WORD does not teach lawlessness. This is the very doctrine of devils. Salvation is from sin not to continue in it *John 8:31-36; Romans 3:31; Romans 8:1-4.

If you continue in sin you will die *Romans 8:13 because all those who do so reject the gift of God's dear son and count the blood of the covenant an unholy thing doing despite to the Spirit of grace *Romans 6:23; Hebrews 10:26-31.

SIN is the difference between the children of God and the children of the devil *1 John 3:6-10. Those who are God's children do not practice sin *1 John 3:4-6; Romans 3:31; Romans 8:1-4 as the scriptures teach; For as many as have sinned without law shall also perish without law: and as many as have sinned in the law shall be judged by the law For not the hearers of the law are just before God, but the doers of the law shall be justified *Romans 2:12-13.

God's 4th commandment is one of God's 10 Commandments *Exodus 20:1-17 that give us the knowledge of what sin is when broken *Romans 3:20 and just any of Gods 10 commandments if we break any one of them we stand guilty before God of sin *James 2:10-11.

There is no scripture in all of Gods WORD that says God's 4th commandment has been abolsihed and we are now commanded to keep Sunday as a Holy day. This is a teaching and tradition of men that breaks the commandments of God. JESUS says all those who knowingly follow man made teachings and traditions that break the commandments of God are not following God *Matthew 15:3-9.

The question we must ask ourselves is who do we believe and follow; God or man? As it is written by their fruits you shall know them and now also the ax is laid to the root of the trees: every tree therefore which brings not forth good fruit is hewn down, and cast into the fire *John 15:1-10; Matthew 3:9.

Who do you believe and follow?

John never mentions 10 commandments here. Just commandments. Respectfully, your 7th day Adventist interpretation is not scripture it's interpretation. You see "commandments" and you think 10 commandments.

Rubbish! John is talking about the 10 commandments in 1 John 2:3-4. The "context" is that he is writing these things that we sin not *1 John 2:1. Chapter 3 verse 4 goes into the detail of defining sin as does James 2:10-11. The scripture and chapter context determines what commandments or laws are the topic of conversation and you have been provided context and it disagrees with your claims.

My own study of God's Word is given me of God and no one else as I seek him to be my guide and teacher so I study Gods Word for myself because I love him and wish to follow him and he guides me and teaches me according to his promises.

Only God's Word is true and we should believe and follow it. Ignoring God's Word does not make it disappear.

Oh we know that God's word is true, It's your ridiculous interpretation of God's word that offends the true believers.

You implied that Jesus died on the day of preparation to the weekly Sabbath, how ridiculous. And to say that the Israelites were in Egypt for over 400 years, reveals that you have done little study on the subject.

But now you have your chance to defend your ridiculous statements, because I have started a post especially for you to attempt to Justify your erroneous statements. See you there old mate.

Would you be more specific and address a single point at a time? Where specifically, in what I have posted, that you responded to, have I made a "ridiculous interpretation of God's word "? You will have to demonstrate this so that I understand what needs to be corrected, if anything at all. I do not choose to be in error, and if you think me so, you must show me where, and if I truly am in error, I will be corrected. I always seek the truth. However, merely asserting I have made a "ridiculous interpretation of God's word" without showing me where specifically, does not do me, you or anyone any good. At least I have shown you why you are in error from the scriptures you merely assert things you cannot show from the scriptures in order to follow man-made teachings and traditions that break the commandments of God.
As posted earlier to you I was responding to another poster showing that there is a preparation day before the weekly Sabbath. As to JESUS dying on the preparation of the weekly Sabbath and the Israelites being in slavery to the Egyptians for around 400-430 years I can demonstrate both from the scriptures but this is a side issue and not the topic of the OP. You made it a topic of discussion to try and conceal that you did not get your facts right in regards to your claim to the use of the Greek word Sabbaton in Colossians 2:16 being singular (N-GNS) application when in fact it is plural application (N-GNP).
Open up a new thread I will be happy to discuss it with you and demonstrate from the scriptures why you are in error just like you were shown through the scriptures that your claims to Sabbaton in Colossians 2:16 being singular (N-GNS) application when in fact it is plural application (N-GNP) was in error. What amazes me here is that everyone wants to talk about anything else except the OP. I wonder why...?

Receive God's Word and be blessed. Ignoring it does not make it disappear.

    Hi 3rdAngel,
I have nothing against you choosing to observe a Sabbath on Friday/Saturday, just as the Jews do. I have no problem with people choosing Sunday, either. Having at least one day in seven to rest and worship is important.

The far more important issue raised by your OP is whether or not people who call themselves Christians are, inadvertently, falling back on the law rather than living by grace. You say that you are living by faith and works, and to you this means following a strict adherence to Sabbath times and activities (as listed in your post).

I'm now interested to know what commandment you think God first gave to mankind.

When you can't even understand and acknowledge that "God's Law" is actually 613 Commandments as found in Torah, then one simply doesn't know what they're talking about. I have posted the 613 Commandments as they appear in Torah, including the verses, but you continue to just blow that off and ignore what the scripture actually says. All you are doing is picking & choosing only the Commandments you want to deal with, thus ignoring the rest.

So, you can be as snarky as you want, as if that'l make you somehow look like you know what your're talking about on this, but I'm done wasting our time with your repeated judgmental rants. If this is what your SDA teachers tell you that this is right & proper, then maybe start looking into other churches that teach what's actually in the scriptures, plus that ranting and being snarky is not a reflection of "love one another" as Jesus taught.

With that, take care, as I'm moving on.

You are confused here brother. Jesus says that the Sabbath was made for all mankind *Mark 2:27. There was no Jew when the Sabbath was made, no sin, no law no Moses and no Israel. *Genesis 2:1-3. It is God's 4th commandment of the 10 Commandments that give us th knowledge of what sin is in the new covenant *Romans 3:20; Romans 7:7; 1 John 3:4. According to God's Word in the new covenant if we break any one of God's 10 Commandments we stand guilty before God of sin *James 2:10-11 and the wages of sin is death to all those who reject the gift of God's dear son and count the blood of the covenant an unholy thing doing despite to the Spirit of grace *Romans 6:23; Hebrews 10:26-39.

We should worship God everyday that has never been the problem. God set apart the "seventh day" and blessed "the seventh day" as a memorial of creation and made "the seventh day" a "Holy day of rest" *Genesis 2:1-3 where no work is to be done and made it one of his 10 commandments *Exodus 20:8-11 that give us the knowledge of what sin is when broken *Romans 3:20 and if we knowingly break it we stand guilty before God of sin. *James 2:10-11; James 4:17.

According to God's Word only those who believe and follow God's Word are God's Sheep *John 10:1-10; John 10:26-27; Matthew 7:22-27; James 2:18-26. Those who say they believe but do not follow do not hear his Voice (the Word) and follow him and are not his Sheep.

I said no such thing and if I have said no such thing why are you pretending that I have?

Do you love JESUS Redemptionsong? *John 14:15.

God's Sheep hear his Voice (the Word of God)

You have been provided what is in the scriptures brother. You are free to believe as you wish.

All you have provided are man made teachings and saying. As posted earlier as a help and also shown through the scriptures you are confused in the MOSAIC shadow laws that pointed to JESUS and God's plan of salvation in the new covenant *Hebrews 7; Hebrews 8; Hebrews 9; Hebrews 10; Ephesians 2 and Colossians 2 with God's eternal law (10 Commandments) that gives us the knowledge of what sin is in the new covenant *Romans 3:20; 1 John 3:4.

There is no 613 commandments in God's 10 commandments. The book of the law *Deuteronomy 31:24-26 is not God's LAW (10 Commandments) written on stone with the finger of God *Exodus 32:16.

Let me ask you again plainly again the question you are ignoring...

How many commandments are there in God's 10 commandments (scripture only please); 7; 9; 10 or 613? Here is a hint here *Deuteronomy 10:4.

Everything in the book of the law *Deuteronomy 31:24-26 revolves around God's LAW which was spoken and written with the finger of God *Exodus 20:1-17; Exodus 32:16. It is the very standard of sin and righteousness *1 John 3:4; Psalms 119:172 and of the judgment to come *Romans 2:12-13 and leads us to the cross that we might be forgiven through faith *Galatians 3:22-25.

My teaching is not my own it is given my from God as I seek him through his Word because I believe and follow him.

Only God's WORD is true and we should believe and follow it. I hope you can receive Gods' Word in the spirit (love) which is only sent as a help to you.

Receieve God's WORD and be blessed.

James 2:10-11 also does not mention (specifically) the 10 commandments nor does 1 John 2:1. In fact the context of James 2:8 speaks of the Law that you should love your neighbor as yourself. That law is not one of the 10 commandments at all. And 1 John 2:9-11 also is speaking of the same concept. To not hate your brother. So it's about love not specifically the 10 commandments.

It's good that you love God and want God to be your teacher. But have you received the holy Spirit since you believed? (Acts 19:2)

The real Law of the new Covenant is the holy Spirit which is the "river of Life" that flows from the throne of God and of the Lamb. This is the Law that gives Life ...

The first Law was taken away to make way for the second. As Jesus is the new Law and gives us His Spirit to guide us in His wisdom.

Jesus the Messiah is the Law and the commandment of Life that is from the Father.

I the Lord have called thee in righteousness, and will hold thine hand, and will keep thee, and give thee for a covenant of the people, for a light of the Gentiles; (Isaiah 42:6)

Thus saith the Lord, In an acceptable time have I heard thee, and in a day of salvation have I helped thee: and I will preserve thee, and give thee for a covenant of the people, to establish the earth, to cause to inherit the desolate heritages; (Isaiah 49:8)

That which was from the beginning, which we have heard, which we have seen with our eyes, which we have looked upon, and our hands have handled, of the Word of life; (1 John 1:1)

The holy Spirit is the Law that will proceed from God when He is enthroned within anyone who receives Him.

Hearken unto me, my people; and give ear unto me, O my nation: for a law shall proceed from me, and I will make my judgment to rest for a light of the people. (Isaiah 51:4)

And he shewed me a pure river of water of life, clear as crystal, proceeding out of the throne of God and of the Lamb. (Revelation 22:1)

This is why when the King comes to His throne the work of the regent is finished who is Moses. (Matthew 23:2)

So when the King reigns within; then the Law proceeds directly from Him. That is the heart that is submitted to Him flows with the holy Spirit of God.

Neither shall they say, Lo here! or, lo there! for, behold, the kingdom of God is within you. (Luke 17:21)

He that believeth on me, as the scripture hath said, out of his belly shall flow rivers of living water. (John 7:38)

Now when they heard this, they were pricked in their heart, and said unto Peter and to the rest of the apostles, Men and brethren, what shall we do? Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost. For the promise is unto you, and to your children, and to all that are afar off, even as many as the Lord our God shall call. (Acts 2:37-39)

It is certainly news to me that we Christians no longer hold to, The Ten Words as noted in the Decalogue, Deuteronomy in which the Sabbath Law is the 3rd commandment.
It is the duty of Christians therefore to remember that, although the practices of the Jewish Sabbath are gone, surpassed as they are by the "fulfilment" which Sunday brings, the underlying reasons for keeping "the Lord's Day" holy — inscribed solemnly in the Ten Commandments — remain valid, though they need to be reinterpreted in the light of the theology and spirituality of Sunday: "Remember the Sabbath day to keep it holy, as the Lord your God commanded you. Six days you shall labour, and do all your work; but the seventh day is a Sabbath to the Lord your God. Then you shall do no work, you, or your son, or your daughter, or your servant, or your maid, or your ox, or your ***, or any of your beasts, or the foreigner within your gates, that your servant and maid may rest as well as you. You shall remember that you were a servant in the land of Egypt, and the Lord your God brought you out from there with a mighty hand and an outstretched arm. Therefore the Lord your God commanded that you keep the Sabbath day" (Dt 5:12-15). Here the Sabbath observance is closely linked with the liberation which God accomplished for his people.

Christ came to accomplish a new "exodus", to restore freedom to the oppressed. He performed many healings on the Sabbath (cf. Mt 12:9-14 and parallels), certainly not to violate the Lord's Day, but to reveal its full meaning: "The Sabbath was made for man, not man for the Sabbath" (Mk 2:27). Opposing the excessively legalistic interpretation of some of his contemporaries, and developing the true meaning of the biblical Sabbath, Jesus, as "Lord of the Sabbath" (Mk 2:28), restores to the Sabbath observance its liberating character, carefully safeguarding the rights of God and the rights of man. This is why Christians, called as they are to proclaim the liberation won by the blood of Christ, felt that they had the authority to transfer the meaning of the Sabbath to the day of the Resurrection. The Passover of Christ has in fact liberated man from a slavery more radical than any weighing upon an oppressed people — the slavery of sin, which alienates man from God, and alienates man from himself and from others, constantly sowing within history the seeds of evil and violence.

The main point of the precept is not just any kind of interruption of work, but the celebration of the marvels which God has wrought.

The joy with which God, on humanity's first Sabbath, contemplates all that was created from nothing, is now expressed in the joy with which Christ, on Easter Sunday, appeared to his disciples, bringing the gift of peace and the gift of the Spirit (cf. Jn 20:19-23). It was in the Paschal Mystery that humanity, and with it the whole creation, "groaning in birth-pangs until now" (Rom 8:22), came to know its new "exodus" into the freedom of God's children who can cry out with Christ, "Abba, Father!" Sure it does...

JAMES 2:10-11 [10], For whoever shall keep the whole law, and yet offend in one point, he is guilty of all.[11], For he that said, DO NOT COMMIT ADULTERY [God's 7th commandments of the 10 found in Exodus 20:14], said also, DO NOT KILL [God's 6th commandment of the 10 commandments found in Exodus 20:13]. NOW IF YOU COMMIT NO ADULTERY, YET IF YOU KILL, YOU ARE BECOME A TRANSGRESSOR OF GOD'S LAW.

Here James mentions specifically God's 10 commandments by quoting the examples given of the 6th and 7th commandment of the 10 commandments and states if we break any one of them we are transgressing God's LAW.

The same thing is expressed by Paul here where he links breaking God's LAW and specifically mentions the example of the 10th Commandment from the 10 commandments stating that it is sin to break any of God's 10 commandments using coveting as an example which is given by the law (10 commandments).

ROMANS 7:7 7, What shall we say then? Is the law sin? God forbid. No, I HAD NOT KNOWN SIN BUT BY THE LAW: for I had not known lust, except the law had said, THOU SHALT NOT COVET [God's 10th commandments of the 10 found in Exodus 20:17].

Paul also stated earlier that God's 10 commandments when broken give us the knowledge of what sin is

ROMANS 3:20 [20], Therefore by the deeds of the law there shall no flesh be justified in his sight: FOR BY THE LAW [10 commandments as shown above ROMANS 7:7] IS THE KNOWLEDGE OF SIN.

So as can be seen above God's Word defines sin as breaking any one of God's 10 commandments and not believing and following God's Word *Romans 14:23.

That brings us to the chapters of 1 JOHN 2 and 1 JOHN 3 specifically to 1 JOHN 2:1-4 and 1 JOHN 3:3-10.

1 JOHN 2:1-4. [1], MY LITTLE CHILDREN, THESE THINGS I WRITE UNTO YOU THAT YOU SIN NOT. And if any man sin, we have an advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous:

NOTE: This is very important as it states the very reason why JOHN is writting the epistle of all of 1 JOHN and that is that WE SIN NOT! God's Word has already defined what sin is in ROMANS 7:7; ROMANS 3:20; ROMANS 14:23 as breaking anyone of God's 10 commandments and not believing and following God's Word.

[2], And he is the propitiation for our sins: and not for our's only, but also for the sins of the whole world. [3], And HEREBY WE KNOW THAT WE KNOW HIM IF WE KEEP HIS COMMANDMENTS .
[4], HE THAT SAYS I KNOW HIM AND DOES NOT KEEP HIS COMMANDMENTS IS A LIAR AND THE TRUTH IS NOT IN HIM.

The CONTEXT determines scripture application. Sin is defined as breaking any one of God's 10 commandments and the reason why JOHN is writing 1 JOHN is that we sin not (break God's commandments) than in 1 JOHN 2:3-4 he states we only know God by keeping his commandments.

1 JOHN 3:4 states the same as JAMES 2:10-11 and ROMANS 7:7 where it shows breaking God's 10 Commandments or transgressing God's LAW (10 Commandments) is sin also keep in mind the reason John is writting the epistle is that we sin not. John defines the transgression of God's LAW as shown in JAMES 2:10-11 as sin

1 JOHN 3:4 [4], Whoever commits sin transgresses also the law: for SIN IS THE TRANSGRESSION OF THE LAW [see JAMES 2:10-11].

Sorry brother God's Word disagrees with you here. The application here is in the context which is shown to be any one of God's 10 commendments which define what sin is in the new covenant as demonstrated by PAUL, JAMES and JOHN.

May you receive God's Word and be blessed.

You cannot separate God's LAW from love as obedience to God's LAW is how love is expressed...

ROMANS 13:8-10 [8], Owe no man anything, but to LOVE ONE ANOTHER: for HE THAT LOVES ANOTHER HAS FULFILLED THE LAW. [9], FOR THIS, THOU SHALT NOT COMMIT ADULTERY, THOU SHALT NOT KILL, THOU SHALT NOT STEAL, THOU SHALT NOT LIE, THOU SHALT NOT COVET; and IF THERE SHALL BE ANY OTHER COMMANDMENT, it is briefly SUMMED UP in this saying, namely, THOU SHALT LOVE THY NEIGHBOR AS THYSELF.
[10], Love works no ill to his neighbor: therefore LOVE IS THE FULFILLING OF THE LAW.

ROMANS 3:31, Do we then make void the law through faith? GOD FORBID: YES, WE ESTABLISH THE LAW.

ROMANS 8:1-4 [1], There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, WHO WALK NOT AFTER THE FLESH BUT AFTER THE SPIRIT [2], FOR THE LAW OF THE SPIRIT OF LIFE HAS MADE ME FREE FROM THE LAW OF SIN AND DEATH . [3], For what the law could not do, in that it was weak through the flesh, God sending his own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh, and for sin, condemned sin in the flesh: [4], THAT THE RIGHTEOUSNESS OF THE LAW MIGHT BE FULFILLED IN US WHO WALK NOT AFTER THE FLESH BUT AFTER THE SPIRIT.

    and is why JESUS says;

MATTHEW 22:36-40 [36] Master, which is the great commandment in the law?
[37], Jesus said to him, You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your mind. [38], This is the first and great commandment. [39], And the second is like to it, You shall love your neighbour as yourself. [40], ON THESE TWO COMMANDMENTS HANG ALL THE LAW AND THE PROPHETS.

    and why JOHN says;

2 JOHN 1:6 AND THIS IS LOVE THAT WE WALK AFTER HIS COMMANDMENTS. This is the commandment, That, as you have heard from the beginning, you should walk in it.

    and again here;

1 JOHN 5:2-3 [2], BY THIS WE KNOW THAT WE LOVE THE CHILDREN OF GOD, WHEN WE LOVE GOD AND KEEP HIS COMMANDMENTS [3], FOR THE IS THE LOVE OF GOD, THAT WE KEEP HIS COMMANDMENTS: and his commandments are not grievous.

    and is why it is written;

1 JOHN 2:3-4 [3], And HEREBY WE KNOW THAT WE KNOW HIM IF WE KEEP HIS COMMANDMENTS. [4], HE THAT SAYS I KNOW HIM AND DOES NOT KEEP HIS COMMANDMENTS IS A LIAR AND THE TRUTH IS NOT IN HIM.

1 JOHN 3:6 WHOSOEVER ABIDES IN HIM SINS NOT: WHOSOEVER SINS HAS NOT SEEN HIM OR KNOWS HIM

1 JOHN 3:9 [9], WHOSOEVER IS BORN OF GOD DOES NOT COMMIT SIN; for his seed remains in him: and he cannot sin, because he is born of God.

1 JOHN 5:18 [18] We know that WHOSOEVER IS BORN OF GOD SINS NOT; but he that is begotten of God keeps himself, and that wicked one touches him not.

ROMANS 2:12-13 [12], For as many as have sinned without law shall also perish without law: and as many as have sinned in the law shall be judged by the law; [13], FOR NOT THE HEARERS OF THE LAW ARE JUST BEFORE GOD BUT THE DOERS OF THE LAW SHALL BE JUSTIFIED.

    and why JESUS says;

JOHN 14:15 [15] IF YOU LOVE ME KEEP MY COMMANDMENTS

If I have not received Gods Spirit I would not have his Word in my heart.

How do we know that we know God?

1 JOHN 2:1-4.

Sin is the difference between the children of God and the children of the devil *1 JOHN 3:6-10

May you receive God's Word and be blessed.

It's been 23 pages. Plenty of people have tried talking to you and you only seem to want to shut them down, insisting that your view is correct and then telling people they are ignorant. Respectfully, you have exhausted everyone's patience since you will not listen to their arguments, but only bombard them with scriptures and a refusal to acknowledge their position at all.

See? This is your problem. You just throw comments like this at people and then wonder why people aren't bothering with you anymore.

I believe and follow God's Word. I do not have the problem. What have I posted that is not true? You no longer believe in Christ, your not a Chrsitian, as you denounced your faith, this is a new testament OP that you have already stated you have no interest in. What is it that I have posted that is not the truth? There has been plenty of posts here just not in regards to the OP. I wonder why...
