Cloud Formation

We had a weird cloud formation overhead a couple of hours back. One long skinny cloud that stretched from almost one horizon and went out of sight over the other. I think they're cirrus clouds?

Don't think so there were some smaller versions in other parts of the sky with similar shaped clouds and it looked much wider than any contrails I've seen.

It might be a tiny piece of space debris that fell to earth and left that trail.

I think it looks like america is testing their new fangled, sub orbital, hypersonic thingymabob. They use Australian skys because, well, who's going to believe an Aussie conspiracy theorist?
