From Ann Albers

My dear friends, we love you so very much,

In your world today, so many of you have been shaken, upset, and saddened by the seemingly random acts of violence that have erupted in the hearts of the hurting hurtful.

How do you make sense of what seems like a senseless loss of life? How do you feel safe in an uncertain world? How can you trust that you’ll be safe, or your children will be safe? We hear your cries, dear ones. Much more importantly we see you striving not to fall into hate, hurt, and worse the desire to hurt back. We see you striving to love, striving to trust, and striving to live your lives in joy in spite of some of the really tough things you witness going on in your world.

So how do you trust you will be safe? Trust, dear ones, is not blind faith in the external world, nor a blind faith in another soul. Trust is, instead, a by-product of your own connection with the Divine.

Most lightworkers identify as spiritual more than religious. While the parable of Jesus provides a storyline that many can follow, the concepts presented here apply to people of any faith.

In order to understand the roles of the lightworkers on the planet, you need to look at the names we’ve assigned to Jesus and God: the savior or redeemer, the creator and the messiah. As we turn this hairpin bend of creation, we’ll add another moniker to that list, the unifier. You can be a savior, creator, messiah AND unifier. One does NOT exclude the other, as you’ll see below.

The biggest fraud sold to mankind is that happiness is attained via success, fame, wealth, or a suitable partner. Yet one need only look to people who have these things and are still unfulfilled, sometimes depressed. If you’re unhappy and gain wealth, you’ll continue to be unhappy because having more of these things amplifies what is lacking.

Don’t repress negativity

This may seem surprising, but the first step to happiness is not to repress negativity.

Why? Some people think that happiness is about smiling, talking about positive things, and not complaining. But then they take it to the extreme and avoid thinking or saying anything negative.

Why is this unhealthy? It’s normal to feel negative when bad things happen. When we repress these feelings and pretend to be happy, this negativity gets bottled up. Even though they are not visible, they are there. Over time, they weigh us down and take a toll on us. Some people sink into depression because they push away their negative feelings without dealing with them.

it’s considered appropriate and helpful to cultivate and enhance our well-being. It is all too easy to overlook the well-being that is easily available in daily life. Even taking time to enjoy one’s tea or the sunset can be a training in letting in well-being.
