Church or Jail? One heck of a lawsuit.

Americans United & Allies Secure Court Victory For Colorado Parolee Jailed For Refusing To Attend Worship Services

Poor guy. Assigned at parole to live in a Christian shelter, asked to be excused from services due to being an atheist, was re-jailed instead. The case is making its way through the courts.

Just imagine if a Christian parolee was assigned to a Muslim shelter. All heck would break loose. I am glad he was victorious. I remember in USAF basic training, if you didn't go to chapel on Sundays, you had to stay and buff the floors of the dorm.

And what happens for other minority groups (eg Hindus)?

There was concern on the parts of others. The following filed Amici Curiae briefs.

A clear case of a piece of christian filth trying to impose his repulsive religious views on another person using his position of power to do so. Hope John Gamez loses his job.

Oh, buffing the floors, every single time. One can learn a great deal from menial tasks, when they are performed well.
