Christians..... you are not the saviors of the world.

I was a little unimpressed after the Hawaiian lady blamed Capitalism on Christianity.

It kind of gave me the impression that some of the other stuff said might also be baloney.
She was pointing out that Christianity is based on being a user's religion where everything is being regarded and viewed as a non-living non-breathing commodity , created exclusively to be exploited and consumed , and enjoyed by one's "divine right" to take possession.

Christianity does not acknowledge the reciprocal nature by which a person is physically and spiritually connected with the land itself, for which much as it is taken, much also needs to be given back.

It's regarded with a great deal of mutual respect and acknowledgement that the land is not a commodity to be exploited and plundered at will carrying the mentality that things were created exclusively for oneself alone. Rather that the land is a living and breathing spirit in its own right that nurtures and manages them as much as they nurture and manage the land.

Christianity wedged themselves into that mutual / spiritual connection with clear attempts to sever that from the indigenous people living there. Breaking apart that living connection in exchange for vauge and vapid notions of a far away heaven and paradise and giving a "gift" that everything and everybody was made for their exclusive use through divine Institution , and that the land is instead of being a living and spiritual connection with it's people , is alternatively an inert and 'dead' resource without any soul and spirituality of its own.

Christianity really doesn't save anybody or anything. Just looking at the mentality for which the religion chugs itself onward. Christianity just takes away, uses, exploits, and destroys whatever it touches in exchange for making vague and vapid promises of a future paradise that has no real spiritual connection or acknowledgement that the land itself is essentially a relationship that is mutually shared by all, for which it breathes and lives, same as the peoples themselves living there.

I'd also like to add it's a reason why I think Christians should leave the Sentinelese people alone.

To let them continue their relationship with the living and breathing lands that they live on of which should not be taken away from them, either spiritually or physically.

Givin the recent threads regarding John Chau's willful disregard for laws that had protected the safety and health concerns of the Setinelese nation and its people for a considerable time.

This is what has been going on since his death.

First, a look at John's stupidity and his spirit of disregard in spite of warnings and concerns that I'm reasonably sure were given to him prior to all this, and the consequences as what has come about from all this so far....

Seven people arrested for helping missionary John Chau before his death

A number of Christians also have the sheer gall to demand this after the fact....

Christian group invites ridicule with demand of murder charges against Sentinelese - Times of India

I think it's time to send a message and reminder to Christians and any other religion that follows a similar path.

In light of recent events surrounding Chau's actions, basically the message needs to be reaffirmed to (hopefully) get it through a number of Christians heads that....

POINT

* You are not the saviors of the world.

*You are not the salt of the earth.

*You are not a beacon of light into the darkness.

I don't know what it takes to drive the message home. Maybe it will take the modern age deaths of an entire group of an ancient indigenous people spanning tens of thousands of years for starters who simply want to be left alone. God forbid. Right?

Missionaries are popular in China.

Guess why.

Okay, keep defending murder, Frank. I guess some people don't view that as something bad when certain people are doing it. For others, it's an atrocity. Nice subjective morality.

For others that guy has a big chance to win the 2018 Darwin award. Despite having removed his own genes from the pool so late in the year. So, maybe there is a silver lining to this sad story.

He wanted to introduce them to Jesus. Instead, they introduced him to Jesus.

I also would love to see a piece on him with the television parody Stupid Deaths.

The way I see it the core issue isn't really attacking a religion as much as it is with the habit of proactively interfering with people's religion directly by approaching people where they live uninvited.
