Sense I have spent a lot of time arguing with Christians I wanted to put up this thread in appreciation for some Christians I admire.I thought this would be as good a place as any to put it up at.

Heres a list. Number 1 my most favorite Christian on the planet is Dick Van Dyke. Yes he was or is a recovering alcoholic probably 50 years or more sobriety in AA LOL.

But believe it or not hes 91 and still alive as far as I know. He made an advertisement paid tv commercial for an exercise video and he is still cute as a pumpkin. If Im wrong about him being alive you can put it here.

He made the best ever picture about alcoholism in the late 60s I think. It was called The Morning After! Yea it was awesome! I also love the old Dick Van Dyke shows and his movies, chitty chitty bang bang Marry Poppins etc........Love it all !

2. Valerie Bertenelly. she was the star of One Day At a Time tv show in the 70s, and now shes on food network and she was married to Van Halen for 18 billion years. She also lost a lot of weight.

I love the fact that she kept her Catholic standards when faced with alcoholism and cocaine addiction from ehr husband and demanded to stay married, I think she finally divorced about 10 years ago.I respect the fact that she kept it together so long with him for Catholic beliefs.

Shes about my age 50 or so and she is still cute as a bug in a rug!I watch on Food sometimes!

Sylvestor Stallone, I love him for all his Rocky movies hes done some great work! Adrien!

I like the guy who invented the indoor grills, I cant remember his name but hes also or use to be a fighter boxing hes pretty cool.

Rich Mullens who wrote and produced Awesome God! He was Catholic in the end before he died and struggling with alcoholism. His Christian music is awesome and ministered and worked for the Native American reservation volunteering his time and did not verbally witness to them at all !

The Pope hes said some good things of late.

The Christians at my Zendo temple, though its been a few months sense I went I would like to go again. The Christians there, though some of them are conservative Christians and only go to Zen to accept the Zen method without the teachings, they are still important. They have opened their hearts and mind just a little bit because they accepted another lifestyle a different culture, in my mind its a good thing.

The lead singer of Stryper and old 80s Christian hard rock group, his wife use to be a stripper in Las Vegas and she started a reality based tv show which bombed about her and her people who started a ministry to help women get out of stripping. Though I disagree with their beliefs still at least she gave it a shot to try and change the abuse of porn in the community which has to be good.

This is it for now but I made add some on later.

Let me add one more Captain of the Von Trapp family whom The Sound Of Music was about. The Sound Of Music was about the Von Trapp family who escaped Hitlers command for the Father to enter as military officer, because he was an officer in the old Austrian military before
Hitler took over.

People don't believe he was a hero because the movie says they fled into the mountains and lived in the mountains awhile before going to the US.

This was not true, in real life they just hopped on a train and came to america. However the truth is it does not make him any less a hero.People did not say no to Hitler as a rule because they were scare of him. So by not giving an answer to Hitler and going to AMerica to escape actually wa sa dangerous thing to do and it took guts to turn down hittler YAY!

Christopher Plummer is one of my favorite actors, he was awesome in this movie gorgeous man!

Lol I rewatched Sound of Music out of nostalgia last weekend with my friend who had somehow never seen the movie. We were a little on the inebriated side, admittedly. I had almost forgotten about the third act.
Then wild Nazis appear and my friend spit out her drink in shock. Lol

Ahh wholesomeness.

Ok so here's 2 more entries, Dog and Beth bounty hunters,

Donna Summer. I grew up with Donna Summers in the 70s and 80s. I like a lot of her songs. Sunset People my favorite, Bad Girls, I fee Love Love to Love You, On The Radio etc
I watched an interview with her. She talked about how she grew up, and her depression issues, she never mentions drugs but Im pretty sure I've read stuff on her drug addiction.

So I was watching her she was talking about the super sexualized image of her career early on Like Love To Love you Bad Girls all that Hot Stuff she fun with it but she got caught up in her sexualized image of herself became depressed.

So I appreciated what she said about sexuality giving her the depression, I can relate so.............I dont agree with the way she got saved and claimed victory over all her problems and got instantly healed of everything the minute she turned to Jesus attitude.

But I like her music. Here's a video of her when she was like 20 doing Aquarius from Hair in the musical in German language in Germany.

I see theres many looks but no comments. Did I shock anyone putting up the Aquarius Hair scene with Donna Simmer?Truthfully I don't consider the pictures put of her nude scenes in that actually to be nude photos or sketches of her,

To me for it to be a nude photo has to show frontal nudity, her private parts and I did not see any of that so I believe its harmless.
