If Christ is the Teacher, then how can one be taught when Jesus hasn't come yet?

    Jeremiah 31:34
And they shall teach no more every man his neighbour, and every man his brother, saying, Know the Lord: for they shall all know me, from the least of them unto the greatest of them, saith the Lord: for I will forgive their iniquity, and I will remember their sin no more.

    Matthew 23:8
“But you are not to be called ‘Rabbi,’ for you have one Teacher, and you are all brothers.

    Luke 17:21
nor will people say, ‘Here it is,’ or ‘There it is,’ because the kingdom of God is in your midst.”

    I'm not an OT follower.

The Spirit that made Jesus a Christ is the teacher. It spoke through Jesus. Christ means anointed by the Spirit. It was through him man received it for themselves for the first time.

He taught us how to be sons (of God) as he was, which is why he called them brethren or brothers.

    John 1:12
But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name:

The Spirit is the mother of the sons, which claimed Jesus as she entered him "this is my son".

    Luke 8
20 And it was told him by certain which said, Thy mother and thy brethren stand without, desiring to see thee.
21 And he answered and said unto them, My mother and my brethren are these which hear the word of God, and do it.

    John:
But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you.

Comforter (capital C) Holy Ghost (capital) Spirit (capital) all the same thing. Mother (to sons).

It's hard to break the orthodox patriarchy of the early catholic church (2nd century). To them there is no way the Spirit could be feminine in form. But Jesus spoke Aramaic, and spirit is she, rather than he. It gets lost in Latin translations.

    Thomas has Jesus saying:
    (101) <Jesus said,> "Whoever does not hate his father and his mother as I do cannot become a disciple to me. And whoever does not love his father and his mother as I do cannot become a disciple to me. For my mother [...], but my true mother gave me life."

The difference is flesh to spirit thinking, the hallmark of the entire gospel message (not the OT). Without this (Spiritual) knowledge, people follow church fathers like Terullian, and see some sort of trinity.

The son and the Spirit both know that the Father is above and greater than both of them. The gospel says it, yet people don't see it.

again that doesn't address those who will know christ and won't have to be taught by another. how then is this possible if no other teaches? will jesus go from person to person? will he raise all those who have already been born and died? will he got to the atheist, buddhist, hindu, jain, moslem, et al ?

or could be the omnipresent God that will teach them?

I find all classes or categories of people are covered by John 3:13.
ALL who died before Jesus' died (including King David - Acts of the Apostles 2:34) can have a physical resurrection.
When Acts of the Apostles 24:15 uses the ' future tense ' that there ' is going to be ' a resurrection..... that future resurrection takes place during Jesus' coming 1,000-year governmental rule over Earth.
So, ALL who died before Jesus can have a happy-and-healthy physical resurrection back to live life on Earth.
Jesus would Not have to be present to do personal one-on-one teaching, but as Jesus instructed his followers to do the same spiritual work as he did - Matthew 24:14; Matthew 28:18-20; Acts of the Apostles 1:8.

True, I find we are ALL invited to pray the invitation of Revelation 22:20 for Jesus to come !
That to me does Not mean that Jesus is Not our Teacher because it is his teachings which are taught in Scripture.
In other words, a person would use Jesus' teachings as found in Scripture as the basis for teaching.
Jesus gave his followers instructions to be teachers about him at Matthew 24:14; Matthew 28:18-20; Acts of the Apostles 1:8 because Jesus, as Prince of Peace, is the one who will usher in global Peace on Earth among persons of goodwill.
Then, when Jesus' comes, mankind will see the return of the Genesis ' tree of life ' on Earth for the healing of earth's nations as mentioned at Revelation 22:2.

again, jesus said you are not to be called teachers, because all are brothers in christ, not in jesus. there is one teacher. the same who instructed jesus?

    this then is the one?

    John 5:19
Then answered Jesus and said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, The Son can do nothing of himself, but what he seeth the Father do: for what things soever he doeth, these also doeth the Son likewise.

    where then is this Father?

    John 14:10
Believest thou not that I am in the Father, and the Father in me? the words that I speak unto you I speak not of myself: but the Father that dwelleth in me, he doeth the works.

We have his teachings in the Bible and promise of Holy Spirit, that will guide.

But the Counselor, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in my name, he will teach you all things, and will remind you of all that I said to you.

    John 14:26

When the Counselor [Greek Parakletos: Counselor, Helper, Advocate, Intercessor, and Comfortor.] has come, whom I will send to you from the Father, the Spirit of truth, who proceeds from the Father, he will testify about me.
    John 15:26

However when he, the Spirit of truth, has come, he will guide you into all truth, for he will not speak from himself; but whatever he hears, he will speak. He will declare to you things that are coming.
    John 16:13

so then that Spirit is the spirit that returns to the one who gave it?

    like this one?

    Romans 8:11
If the Spirit of him who raised Jesus from the dead dwells in you, he who raised Christ Jesus from the dead will also give life to your mortal bodies through his Spirit who dwells in you.

It's the holy Spirit who is the Teacher. Peter once he was filled with the holy Spirit would be appointed as a teacher through the holy Spirit. Not by himself.

    1 Peter 4:11
If any man speak, let him speak as the oracles of God; if any man minister, let him do it as of the ability which God giveth: that God in all things may be glorified through Jesus Christ, to whom be praise and dominion for ever and ever. Amen.

Jesus is the same holy Spirit. So although He bodily went into heaven. His Spirit is with His followers.

    John 14:17
17 Even the Spirit of truth; whom the world cannot receive, because it seeth him not, neither knoweth him: but ye know him; for he dwelleth with you, and shall be in you.
