Are they one and the same?

and if so, if christ is all and in all then is the Lord all and in all?

Lord has different definitions, and by one or the other they may use the title Lord. Lord does not necessarily translate to being an incarnate God.

the 1st of the greatest commandments doesn't allude to self and the 2nd to otherness as self? especially if god is omnipresent? if brahman is all-pervading?

    Gospel of Thomas
    13. Jesus said to his disciples, "Compare me to something and tell me what I am like."

Simon Peter said to him, "You are like a just messenger."

Matthew said to him, "You are like a wise philosopher."

Thomas said to him, "Teacher, my mouth is utterly unable to say what you are like."

Jesus said, "I am not your teacher. Because you have drunk, you have become intoxicated from the bubbling spring that I have tended."

And he took him, and withdrew, and spoke three sayings to him. When Thomas came back to his friends they asked him, "What did Jesus say to you?"

Thomas said to them, "If I tell you one of the sayings he spoke to me, you will pick up rocks and stone me, and fire will come from the rocks and devour you."

So?!?!?! It was also said, 'Jesus was a prophet unlike Moses.'

which would make sense; if moses never entered the land of milk and honey and joshua(jesus) did.

jesus was a trojan horse. it overtook the roman empire. that little spark became a great conflagration. can you see what a mustard seed can do? and the children of light were cast out into darkness.

"I am sending you out like sheep among wolves. Therefore be as shrewd as snakes and as innocent as doves."

Christ means Messiah, King of Jews. King can also be called lord, even if he is not the one and only true God, who also can be called Lord.

Can't be Lord. The etymology for the word Lord didn't exist back then.

the word was transliterated into english as lord from the hebrew yehovah

    Genesis 1:1 (KJV)

here we see it transliterated from the vedic sanskrit into english

Two birds, beautiful of wings, close companions, cling to one common tree: of the two one eats the sweet fruit of that tree; the other eats not but watches his companion. The self is the bird that sits immersed on the common tree; but because he is not lord he is bewildered and has sorrow. But when he sees that other who is the Lord and the beloved, he knows that all is His greatness and his sorrow passes away from him. When, a seer, he sees the Golden-hued, the maker, the Lord, the Spirit who is the source of Brahman, then he becomes the knower and shakes from his wings sin and virtue; pure of all stains he reaches the supreme identity.

melchizedek was called the king of righteousness, that is what a tzaddik is, righteous, just.

that is why laodicea is mention as the last church to hear what the spirit says. to be just is to be righteous. laodicea literally means justice of the people.

I think that the Lord God has sent Christ to us, but we won't have him. Now what?

    comes from revelation

“The kingdom of the world has become the kingdom of our Lord and of his Christ, and he shall reign forever and ever.”

thus the kingdom of the material becomes the kingdom of the lord and christ. it is one and the same and it is the idea of kingdom of god in the earth, reality, as omnipresent, all-pervading.

rev 21 repeats the idea that god and the kingdom isn't some other place. it's a state of mind changing from the old way of seeing something to a new way of understanding, seeing.

Rev 21:1-Rev 21:4 NKJV Now I saw a new heaven and a new earth, for the first heaven and the first earth had passed away. Also there was no more sea. Then I, John, saw the holy city, New Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband. And I heard a loud voice from heaven saying, “Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and He will dwell with them, and they shall be His people. God Himself will be with them and be their God. And God will wipe…

the kingdom of god, heaven is with man. you are all gods, all loves, children of ONE LOVING SPIRIT, of ONE FATHER, ONE MIND.

then self can not know god; if it is divided against itself.

Is self each person or is there one self, according to what you know? I suspect I know God. What do you think?

there is only one paramatman, there are many jivas and atmans. there is only one spirit but many forms of that one. there is one absolute self and many versions of selves.

all pluralities come from the singularity. in the OT it is understood as `el and elohim. `el is singular and the singular ALL. elohim is plural and encompasses all.
