and on 1-6 Trump was literally telling people to go home after his speech,
Not for over two hours after being told by McCarthy and supposedly some others that he needs to tell them to leave. One of his aides said Trump was watching it on more than one tv set and that he was "overjoyed" with seeing the insurrection.

As long as the propaganda continues to flow, forever. These aren't critical thinkers.
Well, that's the concerning part. Sure, the diehards truly believe this nonsense, but there are also a group of Republicans who know this is crazy nonsense, but go along with it anyway.

IMO, it's quite dangerous that the Republican Party is in such a state that there's no price to pay for going along with crazy anti-democratic nonsense, while not going along with it just might get you kicked out.

He won't do that until he takes his last breath. The key question is, how long will the Republican Party go along with it?
IMHO, long after Trump takes his last breath.

Barron will probably ride the winds of it as he attempts to get into the White House.

Guilty of what? Being the most awesome and notorious POTUS of this lifetime? Ten months later and his opponents are still foaming at the mouth and going into convulsions at every little thing they found “offensive” about him. It’s time for them to move on...
Shouldn't you at least wait until all investigations and judicial procedures are finished?

Or would you rather the government shut down all investigations and cover up their findings?

As I said, after his speech and as people began behaving like idiots President Trump did tell them to act within the law, to respect the police, and to go home in peace.
After he realised that people were behaving like idiots and were not able to fulfil the goal for which he send them.
They couldn't stop the confirmation of the election, they couldn't scare Pence. They were of no use any more.

That's a very good observation.

"You ****ed up and failed. You might as well go home".
