How were these holidays interpreted during the first century and how were they celebrated?
Why am I asking? I’m almost certain the canonical Gospels and the book of Acts have woven within them the major Jewish holidays in an allegorical format. Unintentionally Levite had brought this to my attention last year. He had made a comment about the palm branches when Jesus entered Jerusalem.
