Yes. Once we know we are not in control and depend on others to control things for us (which is another way of trying to get control), we live better. We have enough time to build better relationships with ourselves when we know how to handle stresses and surprises that our body naturally reacts to. We tend to have a safety net whether it be material, religious, inner need to find stability and pattern (which is natural too) and at the same time finding ways to handle stress when we "don't" have these things is always a plus. It's like the Dharma: not be attached to positive and negative things because they are born on one side of the coin and they come and go. There isn't a present moment so accepting we are in the past/future, helps not separate them but keep them as one string of being.

It's a nice theology above though since I have seizures, I've dealt with surprises all my life. So, also learning from your experiences help you accept what's out of your control while not ignoring things you can do for yourself when your body reacts to what it feels threatened.

Humans have been around for over 250,000 years and nothing is out of control yet. Our earth, sun and universe has been around for billions of years and natural laws and causes have not been 'out of control' yet.

Funny thing is I don't believe anything has ever been under anyone's control.

It is an illusion.

No. Nothing is ever in human control.

Indeed, whether anything is in God's control is a rhetorical question since reality is chaotic and beyond control. Whether God created the chaos is the question.
