BREXIT DOA-PART 2

Will Johnson appeal the ruling to the European courts?;)
I wondered that (the irony!), but legal opinion seems to be that there is no EU law that would apply to something like this.

Bozo is snookered. Parliament will sit again from tomorrow and will hold his feet to the fire until he signs the extension requuest or resigns. He can't even call a vote of no confidence in his own government (!) to initiate a general election, as he has a majority of minus 40, thanks to his idiocy in sacking 21 of his own party. So the anti-no deal alliance can keep him in office, with his balls cut off, just long enough to to sign the letter asking for what he swore he would never do, and then vote him out and have an election. Unless he resigns first.......

The key thing is that the ruling defends Parliament against demagoguery. If they had ruled it was legal, the floodgates would have been opened for any future Prime Minister to dismiss Parliament on a whim. Those who fall asleep in a democracy, wake up in a dictatorship.
