Black Holes From a Previous Universe Shine Light on Our Own

Hello. If you want to learn much of the mathematics needed to understand his physics, I highly recommend his book 'Road to Reality'. I have recommended it to many of my students and they all seem to agree on how clearly it is written. It does not read like a textbook, it is much more informal. It is a large book and it starts out with the basics so really all one needs some algebra though a familiarity with elementary calculus is helpful.

Peace
Thanks for the heads-up, but it's been sooo long since I had a class in either of them that I'd probably have to start close to step 1 to make sense of it all.
