I really love Democracy, but lately, I have witnessed how I allowed myself to become toxic to myself by following too closely with leftist ideas. Also, I think the concept of choosing a side during debate, and sticking strongly to it no matter what, is starting to outdate in the context of debates on internet forums.

So for that reason, I'm just going to kind of provide my opinion and little fact-checks to either side when I can, when I see an assertion that is obviously too broad or too narrow to be true. In terms of debates. And just learn what I can as people respond to my posts.

I'm also going to cease posting in the liberal board for now. Even though I am going to vote Democrat, for what it's worth.

Introspection and intellectual honesty are rare treasures for sure. There's something to be said for steadfast fidelity to the values one has, but when those values come into conflict with reality, it takes a brave person to seriously question and reevaluate those things IMO. Not many are willing to shake up their ideas of reality, but better information only proves to clarify one's own world view and to free the mind. Much respect. :D
